You both are absolutely right !!! SD you did an extremely good job in highlighting the points which are often neglected in Indian shows. and Littles 12 you are right !! They should at least show one episode where Zain is thinking about how they got married and stuff. Remember how he said "mujhe laga tha ki humne kitna fasla teh kar liya" and then he apologized for his behaviour in the party, I loved those scenes. I want CVs to give us an episode where they show Zain thinking about their journey since their marriage and then apologizing to her !!!
@Littles12I so agree with you. That is why I was saying patriarchal order of things. So far BI has shown Zain getting responsible every day, growing maturer. But this time, the ludicrous elements kind of make it a disgusting watch even for a husband. And its high time Zain realize and put an end to his wife being made a tamasha. You know the upsetting part is that, this is what clicks with the audience, this is what they enjoy and this is what gets the makers TRP's. Its an ugly fact but when a person tries to bring in new ideas, they fail because who wants to see change, who wants to change everything, who cares if the woman next door is sexually abused every night by her own husband, who cares if the lady the in front is getting beaten up by a man. The mentality of the people in this world is sickening. In my home city, NY, its supposed to be a safe neighborhood where you pay extra taxes for more police, a girl got raped behind a school and no one knew about it and even if any pedestrian heard it, they ignored it and went on. I might be getting too technical but why blame me when this is what they show and this is what i get out of it, I mean I love BI because it was more different than other shows, Zain did stand up for his wife and he did believe in her regardless of the other twenty people against her.He knew before himself falling in love with his wife, that his mom wants to make a soap opera out of Aliya, then Aliya is chalti-phirti samaj seva ki dukaan, then Aliya is silly and stupid while going for all the big saves and that his wife ends up becoming a tamasha...I just wish, a sense of frustration is shown this time not only by Zain (coz he knows that already), but also by Aliya for people making a tamasha out of her. To hell with her Family Seva, and Family remains United philosophy. By becoming a tamasha herself, she undermines her husband's dignity in that house. That is what even Aliya has to realize. But will we ever get to see it? NO. Because the Production House is so stingy and try to cost cutting that, there will be only 3 sets used...4th being a temporary one. And somehow all characters needs to be in BV only.So my appeal to PH is...if BV is the primary set, atleast give its resident characters some respite from tamasha of every fortnight. Not healthy.Coz...I go home to watch something light. A seeing a cute couple is destressing. Why spoil that? U might just get the TRP out of watching Cutness itself without any evil.I need Aliyah to initiate some reaction outta herself, because she has self-respect and its about time she stands up for it. I couldn't agree with you more, Zain was already fully aware of his mother's thoughts about her, and this time it would be high time when we get a huge reaction out of him, because it is need now. Why does the girl have to take the BS, take care of everything, save everyone's ass and also keep her mouth shut?I think it would set Suraiya right if Zain really left with Aliyah and began his life from scratch, perhaps it would even teach Suraiya a lesson of not do wrong with another woman,Of course they arent going, they have the time and the money to show her getting abused and harassed, when Zubair picked her up in the kitchen regardless of her repeating to put her down, but they cant show a man standing up for his wife, taking a stand in front of his mother to depict what is right and what is wrong. What I have always failed to understand in reality or television is why do mother in laws forget that they have daughters and the same could happen to them or they were a daughter in law once too?BI was always meant to be a light heart-ed show where drama would never be taken to an extent, but clearly not.

Towards your last post, we can just wish for all that...😆But seriously...if PH did this meherbaani of Zain and Aliya lambasting together about the repeated "tamasha" they are being made by Suraiyya, I would say...a true revolution has happened over Indian TV world. But I remember earlier...over Colors TV, Na Aana Is Des Laado, both husband and wife go against the MIL/Mother. and that was like 5 years back.So its really not hard. The creatives just need to be progressive and not regressive in thinking.Sonali Jaffer is Ekta Kapoor's one of old writers. She is writing for this story as well. So unless Mr.Producer (Farhan Salaruddin...forgive me if I mis-spelt the name) directs her how the outline of the story should be, Sonali Jaffer is good at all kinds of dramas..like suddenly making Zubair the villain. So its in the hands of the story visionaries themselves, where they want to take it. I am sure, in the backdrop of festival, showing such evil scheming, the story writers have embedded poetic justice as well. Coz...they just cannot show the power of faith, be wasted. Either the couple is going to fight being together, or they become alone through misunderstanding, but ultimately the plot needs to be where their faith remains unshaken. So all you good people, whoever is in touch with producerji...you might as well provide feedback what you want to see.

I feel like people are just too hooked up with the romance when they are obnoxiously ignoring the major faults such as Woman Rights. Even before the confession, in the party, Zain man-handled her and did not allow her to justify herself, but what she forgave and they lived happily ever after! No cannot be, and all he said was sorry, it isnt enough for when a man just comes and degrades a woman for when she isnt even at fault.
@bold.For that, I believe ...Zain was shown priding himself about his possessiveness, then happy that Aliya understands his possessiveness about her, then it dawns on him that he was rude and silly that he cannot confess himself and he expects her to understand him.And between flux of all this sudden understanding, the confession happens. And Zain does apologize to Aliya by holding his ears...that he will not be mad at her and upon reminding of Aliya, will not shout on her.So for me that anger about his insecurity...he already apologized for that. And considering his growth of character of how his life is now changed, that too has been covered by Zain, by regretting that his mom cannot even see how Aliya has turned a new life out of a wasted boy like him...and he says this even to Aliya. So an understanding level, Zain has actually has understood what he had done and how it all got lucky for him.But the same understanding needs to be there when he feels challenged and unlucky like the present times, where someone else keeps claiming affection on his wife. So this time will he have insecure anger like before confession or secure anger to protect his wife.We kind of have seen his reactions to Zubair and Suraiya earlier before and after confession. But now we have to see his reactions to Zubair, Suraiya and Rehan after consummation. That is another level. It gets murky and mixed...and hence all the more need for faith and calm...and not his anger or emotion.
