Can we just all take a moment to realize how amazing this character is? We all know Indian soap operas are as misogynist as it can get but I am so impressed by how well written Parvati has been throughout the whole series. She is so well rounded. But what's the most impressive about her (there's a couple things I wanna talk about), is that she was the one that made all those moves on Rudra. She told him that she loved him first. And the fact that she even fell in love with him tho. If it was anyone else on her place, they would still be crying about how her husband is dead. Given that he was a traitor but with Indian (Rajhasthani (you know what I mean)) women's stance on marriage and all, I'm surprised that she fell in love with her husband's killer. But yeah back to making moves on Rudra, OH MY GOD SHE KISSED HIM FIRST. Like hello, Rudra is supposed to be this macho whatever guy but it was Parvati that had the courage to do it. She made him speechless. Honestly there hasn't been a lot of women that has done what Parvati has. And i know i may be exaggerating things just a tad bit but I am finally watching someone who is intelligent and doesn't bark out thoughtless garbage. Like that time when Rudra was calling his mom s**t (or almost did), and Parvati delicately related the situation to herself and explained to Rudra how shitty it was that he thought of his mom that was and this whole "hating women" agenda they put out for him from the beginning just made me lose interest. Anyways Im getting off point. So Parvati. Whenever her and Rudra had little tiffs, her comeback were always on point, like she understands how Rudra works you know? And she knows what needs to be said. And when she believes in something, she goes above and beyond for it. Like when she was gonna leave Rudra because of mannat to bholenaath. Here we see the typical indian show's bahu, and that's perfectly fine because thats what she is. But the way that they made her is that she doesn't depend on her man to do everything. A small expample is when they went to Jairpur for the function and Rudra told her not to come to the party, she wasn't sulky a bit. She went and did what she does best, find a way to entertain herlsef, keep herself busy. I don't really know how to explain this with the right words, but all I can say its kudos to the writers for Parvati.
DISCLAIMER: I didn't know it was Samrats fault that they couldn't have babies (idk why I didn't know lolz sorryyy). But yeah so disregard what I said about him because he sucks
