Then to show the three ex-bosses as being repulsed by her advances makes no sense.

Shiv is different: he is a man of strength and character, that is why he was unimpressed by her. But even he fell for her sob story.

So her strike rate of one out of six is unconvincing -- at least for me.

On a different note, it was interesting that Shiv sees Ira rather than Meenu as his real mother. Meenu was present right through the molestation-court episodes but Shiv got emotional with Ira's arrival and later in the court. The importance of rearing over birthing was subtly but effectively brought out.
