Was Mansi really wrong to doubt Ankita?

Consider the following:

Ankita tells Naren and Pari that Shashank is her first love and she still loves him and can never forget him.

Ankita blatantly refuses to tell Mansi who the father of her baby is. I don't think she needs to reveal this in front of the entire world but her sister/ close relatives deserve to know...just like Naren, the father of the child deserves to know. It shouldn't be treated like some secret that's related to national security jeez.

Because Ankita and Shashank both knew each other's secrets they would be talking secretly and even visited the hospital where Shashank's name was used as the father.

Both Ankita and Shashank hid things from Mansi. I mean does Mansi not even have the right to know who's child is in her womb?! Both Ankita and Shashank treated Mansi as inferior where she shouldn't be told all of these things because I don't know may be they think she is not strong enough or rather stupid so she shouldn't know. Its unfair. Both these people make decisions, make sacrifices that they expect people to understand when they don't realize that these people don't even know the entire truth. And, Mansi even asked Ankita about her baby so why not just tell her? Why get so defensive and worked up when she asked such a simple question?

Last, I know everyone is blaming Mansi for trusting Pari but that's how normal people are. Normal people do get jealous, suspicious...we are curious beings by nature and if people purposely hide things from us, we assume. Mansi is not an angel, but I don't think Ankita is either because like I said she makes so called sacrifices and expects people to understand and value them by default.

Agreed. They created that space for a misunderstanding to happen. Mansi defended Ankita infront of Pari. It was only after the words of Pari were reenforced by Shasank & Ankita did Mansi grew suspicious.

Normal human behavior to become doubtful when you catch others in lie.

mansi is wrong in doubting her own sister who always stood by her.even went against her in laws to support her sister mansi.Ankita always supported mansi in her worst time but when ankita needed support in her worst time rather than supporting her mansi abused her verbally and physically.she doesn't deserve ankitas love but then also ankita will forgive her because she is her sister and she loves her.

Yes she was. By doubting her that sister who brought up her in her own hands just like a mother. It was not like Ankita told her Naren is not the father of her child. Ankita just said she does not want Naren Karmarkar's name attached to her child. This anywhere does not mean that someone else is her child's father. Why should Ankita go around everyone telling that she is carrying Naren's child. Let outsiders think whatever they want to think but Mansi, how could she think such a low thing about her own SISTER i am reapiting SISTER. Mansi is not some outsider. Ankita never told anyone about her pregnancy.It was out in front of Shasank just accidentally. Ankita never wanted Mansi and Shasank to take stress for her problems as they have already alot of their own. When Shashank got to know she just took his help and they did not involve Mansi just because of her healt and other problems. They would not have dreamt in their wildest dream that Mansi will doubt their relation.

^ um, I clearly mentioned that Mansi in not an angel but Ankita isn't one either. She (Ankita) is being portayed as the nice/sacrificing one while Mansi is being hated. So that's the "hullabaloo".

Topic maker u have a good point. I also think Mansi really wasnt wrong to suspect Ankita and Shashank. Ankita had been lying so much to her, and hiding things from her, she even lied to her that Mansi was carrying Shashank's child and then suddenly she blurts out the truth when Mansi is most hurt. That was very insensitive of Ankita and also Mansi kept seeing Ankita/Shashank together and talking about things so secretively so it was natural for Mansi to feel something was not right. And when she found out from the form that Ankita's baby was Shashank's(which was a lie Shashank told) she wud definitely feel hurt and betrayed. Mansi had every right to feel doubtful, Ankita wud never answer Mansi's questions directly like when Mansi asked whose baby was it, Ankita never said it was Naren's and kept saying it was only her baby so that might have raised Mansi's suspicions. Mansi shud not be feeling extremely guilty, Ankita also has done very wrong by hiding things from her.

@bold, but since Ankita said she does not want Naren Karmarkar's name attached to her child, it opens way for suspicion. It does not mean that someone else is her child's father but it gives the possibility that it cud have been someone else's child. Ankita was not being clear to Mansi, and since Mansi is her sister Ankita shud have told her that she is carrying Naren's baby instead of hiding it from her. I am surprised that Ankita is hurt and upset that Mansi cud think so terrible of her, Ankita kind of invited it.

@Bhalla
See if Mansi was just Shashank's wife not Ankita's sister then it would have been perfectly fine if she doubts Ankita. But they are SISTERS. does not she know her sister, that she cant do something like that. She has seen her sister from the childhood. Then how can she think about so eone else being the father of unborn child.

JJJ123: you have read my posts and are questioning me about my opinion? Please refrain from getting personal. Its my opinion, don't like it...I don't care. Ankita, Mansi everyone in fact...they are all just fictional characters ...no need to get so worked up that it compels you to target me individually.

Bhallarox: I agree, that's what I was trying to say. Ankita is Mansi's sister and I remember the episode where Mansi desperately asks Ankita about her baby but instead of telling her she flips out. The thing is Ankita treated this entire information as some top notch secret and that's why Mansi got suspicious. Also, we can't forget the fact that Shashank and Mansi were a couple. Sometimes love compels people to do crazy things so Mansi's doubt wasn't baseless.
