Sigh this is not my best effort at analysis especially after a working weekend spent on con calls meetings mails and what not Jimmy Choos keeps me in the rat race but tonight I found something interesting and could not resist sharing no matter how convoluted it may seem at least to me it all boils down to trust and betrayal Just like Paro believed in Tejawat her father figure and would not listen to Rudra until she was shown the facts ( I liked that facet in her that she makes her own conclusions and judgments based on her own experience as opposed to being swayed by a handsome face which should be enough for believing that explains Jeremy Meeks ok could not resist that ) and right now Rudra is facing his own story of his mother of facts and truths believing to be real but now fast crumbling leading to lies and twisted reality by the very father he believed in Paro is saying something else His mothers words and actions don't add up and his fathers behavior is not helping and that slap although painful is just a small sample of the betrayal a precursor to the ultimate revelation akin to her when she felt when totally crushed and pained when Tejawat revealed his true colors similarly Rudra before the mother lode hits him he believed only to be betrayed One bright spot they both turned to each other as their saviour sanctuary Last time Paro now Rudra

Guess they are laying the foundation for an insecure Rudra's need for an exclusive to all but him over Paro and her inclusive to all with him being on top of the totem Rudra

Hmm who else noticed Maithali's reaction to being left out ? and gosh Paro really is hell bent on testing his 8 year every night bit

I do wish ardently that the abused spouse and alcoholism is dealt wisely for it would be mocking those faced with these situations in real life Mala has my understanding for now as does Dilsher they were bad parents no doubt but they behaved and reacted to the circumstances as best they could with the knowledge they possessed then as opposed to now when age wisdom and experience shows otherwise and Rudra will learn to forgive for letting go and moving forward in life is healing Paro will show him the way I have my own ESH of forgiveness- it helps the individual to go forward without the baggage of the past weighing down anymore

Ok one acerbic comment I read some real vile spew in that honeymoon spoiler you all enjoyed ranting and tonight I hope you are eating humble pie and loving every slice that is sticking in your throat

Ok hope I made sense and back to my work 😭

Ditto Swathi ..
This infiltrators always pollute forum atmosphere by jumping into conclusion prior to airing the episode ..

And yes I complete agree with u , I hope the situation is handled delicately..
It's not easy to forgive an abusive spouse who not only abused but also poisoned their offspring's life and tried to destroy his mother's image !!

Swathi, Wonderful post... Yup, it does boil down to trust and betrayal at the end. Rudra trusted his mother and feels betrayed by her actions... Now it is his turn to see the Truth... Who till now is blinded by the false stories fed to him... Just like Paro was about Tejawat...

Few people are ever ready to jump their guns on Paro... Speculating is good but speculating and judging everyone based on those speculations... Not so good... I liked how the whole Honeymoon scene played out... So realistic and so much in character for both Rudra and Paro.

Good observation FLS. Just like Paro had to hear from Tejawat to understand his true colours, similarly now Rudra will get hit with the truth. Time for him to reevaluate his opinions. Need to see how Rudra's relation will be with Mala and especially his father Dilsher henceforth.

As for jumping the gun and lashing out at Paro, seems to be the easiest thing to do, no matter how much better it would be to lower the anxiety levels and watch the track unfold instead. Also, this is the creative's story and characters, let them do the narration the way they choose fit.

As soon as I read Jimmy Choos, I actually started dreaming for 3seconds😆 don't think hubby will be happy if this time I ended up with pairs that I never plan to wear( you know I have the tendency to do that...am still the same). My McCartney's and Choos are just to look not to touch😉
Now about the show, I think Rudra is insecure in a childlike way. He takes things for face value. I get that mom left and pain and what not, but I also think as an adult best is to deal with it. Paro faced parent's death, father figure's betrayal in the worst possible way, first husband's treachery and everything she believed in to be incorrect. Now that's huge, imagine the scenario where a young village belle has to face all that. Rudra on the other hand does have deep scars but he did had one life line his dad. Granted he wasn't much of a dad but he was there. He Iof course was abused but he has to understand and deal with it like Paro did.
I personally felt that Paro was right with saying no to the honeymoon NOW. It is not the right time. Two people with different mindset is not a way to start a new beginning...it would bliss for Rudra but what about Paro? Not wanting to cheapen their bond but honestly who wants to watch coerced lovemaking anyway? I don't.
I think they are going with the angle of abuse here with Mala. I really hope it is handled sensitively because I know La, you and I will not tolerate any kind of incorrect abuse is okay if you love message on any format. I know that and I really don't want to put this show as one of the in love anything is okay category so fingers crossed it is handled with care and respect.
I just want Rudra to listen to his mom, that's all. Its kind of funny though isn't it hun that when AS's video was circulating and he clarified we are okay to forgive( I don't care either way I haven't even seen those videos nor have any intention too) but for a fictional character who is not even real we are becoming all high and mighty? really amazes me. I think Mala deserves her side of story to be heard. Now lets see what this week brings?
I have gone overboard with my response but love your post darlin👏

Was just about to log off when I saw your post 😃 Interesting parallel ... nothing is going to change Rudra's mind about Mala till the very person who fed him those lies, Dilsher, tells Rudra himself, that they were all lies ... again, I can't blame Rudra ... Dilsher is his father, and all said and done, he is the parent who stayed, while Mala left ... so obviously Rudra believes his word. Same way as I never blamed Paro for believing in Tejawat till he himself told her his truth.
But I feel sorry for Rudra ... his whole world will crumble again ... and that's probably why Mala is holding her silence, to allow him to retain his trust in the one parent he does trust for now. If Dilsher tells him he was an abusive spouse, Rudra's faith in both his parents will be shattered. But he needs to know the truth to move on ... and make peace with what happened.
Lashing out at Paro ... that will never stop ... let's enjoy the temporary hiatus and the peace in the forum ... till the toxicity starts again 😆

Wo Swati...what a great post! I am still brooding over USA's match yesterday...but so glad to find your post...Parallels...I felt the same...Just like Pado had her blind faith in the adopted father...Rudra similarly has his on Dilsher ...and it's going to be a rude awakening since Dilsher played a huge role in scarring Rudra for a long time. Him hating Mala has a lot to do with Dilsher. I don't think he will hear anything as it seems in the Precap...but very soon he will know that his mother was abused( it seems it was domestic violence).
As you have mentioned, I hope they realize that Domestic Violence is a very real issue with real women. Once abused , a woman should never stay in that relationship under any circumstances...and definitely not because she shares a child with the abuser. It's a wrong message altogether. Here Mala is back and maybe will reconcile with Dilsher...which I really don't want to see if she has been abused. I will not pass any judgements yet😆

As for Rudra...I noticed his possessiveness today...he almost seemed jealous of Mala...he wants Paro's attention all to himself...and no one else. More than once he emphasized on...my wife. I think they are going the Othello way...doing the ground work now...it's going to be very interesting. I would love to see glimpses of Othello. It's one of my favorites.
