At one extreme we have Rabia and kashaf, who have to fight for the basic right of kashaf to have higher education, that she has earned for herself

At the extreme is Zaroons sister who takes independence to the other extreme, and takes her boyfriend for granted and seems to have scant respect for his feelings

Or zaroon's mother, who doesn't owe any answer or explanation to anyone, particularly, as her husband doesn't seem to give due credit to her profession

Is Zaroon a chauvinist, I think he is, his father, a mild manners man to all appearances, is not necessarily comfortable with an independent working wife.

Sparks were bound fly, when kashaf met Zaroon, and it was a crackling scene

When the arrogant Zarron met the headstrong kashaf , round 1 goes to kashaf

I am sure he will give a crackling reply to kashaf, soon

Like Zaroon's mother, she is quite right in her stance, had this been in India, but the scenario is different when you switch the location. Zaroon's sister, Sara, though takes independence to extreme like you mentioned. Her apathetic attitude towards her boyfriend, Zaroon's mother's independent existence display the necessary contrast between the two households. Kashaf though, is the only one in her family who is fiercely independent, Zaroon too stands apart from his cosmopolitan family through his casual misogyny.

where Kkashaf i guess will understand the coming situations..n will get that all men or all Abbaas r not alike...they can b different...as Zaroon will b a xample for her ...its amazing show...with amazing cast..:)

I agree that what Zaara did with her fiance was wrong and her mom supporting her.

But in the fight with his father, I am inclined to agree with her. She excitedly told him about some selection for a conference that few could get and he ignored it. Of course she felt irritated.

But then again we haven't seen the whole story yet, I am prepared and sit back and watch it unfold.
