but seriously, if suraiya was the one who made fahad marry shazia then why in the initial episodes, did they show suraiya favoring nafisa over shazia.

Well i guess the cameos are helping in getting deep into everyone's character and also we have our Zaya bonding simultaneously. See before mir khan/barkat's track we did not know about usman past...so they they are slowly letting out bit by bit...maybe this track with rehaan will further open up the mystery..and we have to wait and watch as everything unfold..

I too feel this rehan may open up usman's mystery.

I think in addition to Nafeesa wanting to get in Surraiya's good books, Nafeesa is as "class" conscious as Surraiya, and Nafeesa is obviously close to Zain (he is after all Rizwan's best friend), hence why she initially developed animosity for her.

Also I think naturally she ha s some jealousy because Aliya is not only the bahu but also like a daughter of the house (she is afterall mamu ki bhanji), and so a natural insecurity is there for Nafeesa.
