Then why didn't he give her a film at this time when she needs it the most? He keeps working with her rival, Deepika. He works with her family, but doesn't offer her any film.

I doubt KJo will. One big reason is Dharma makes young films. They don't know how to make films for older people, that's why Kajol hasn't gotten a film with him even though she wants to come back now.

If Kajol wants to come back, it would have happened by now.If Vidya had wanted to act with a Khan, specifically SRK it would have happened by now. They are incredibly choosy from what I have seen, Kajol is incredibly choosy. A lot of things will have to work out for her to come back. She will not grab the first thing that comes her way if she is not convinced. So too Vidya.

As for Nawab, why doesn't he put Begum in a movie. Easy. Because Begum does not want to She has always marched to her own drumbeat, even at the risk of making stupid decisions, she absolutely wears the pants in that relationship, so yeah if she does not want to do it, she won't. If she wants to, it will happen 😆.

As for KJo, IMO Deepika is the current flavor, she makes him money. But will he go out of the way to give her a film because she asks. I don't think he will do it though he may do it for Bebo and I will be shocked if he does not do it for Kajol.

Kajol is very chosy. She rejected KANK and chose fanna. And KANK was KJO who's her best friend movie and had Srk. She rejected 3 idiots. She's really chosy when it comes to movies. She won't just do a movie for the sake of it.

Kareena takes decision by herself. She's different than all other actresses. She just doesn't care about what others think about her. As long as she's satisfy she's happy. Which is good actually. She's not a puppet to other producers and directors. In better words I'll say she's a female salman. I am happy she rejected this movie. First it's not a guarantee success and second she won't have much to do in this movie.

Having said that I hope both Kareena and Kajol will make a come back with a bang

The last film (other than what she keeps doing for her and Ajay's production company) Kajol acted if I remember was that stepmom remake and Bebo was also in it. It was a KJo film if I remember right. Kajol is heading to 40 and though it seems cruel to say this, is not the primary wage earner unlike a Madhuri. Whatever the state of her marriage to Ajay is, they are not wanting for money. They have money enough for a private plane and he keeps showering her with expensive cars. Kajol does not have to work again. Her career always came second, she was not ambitious enough when she could have easily become #1. She got married early, had a kid at the time most actresses are right at the top of their career. Point, she is putting out feelers. But with the right script and possibly money only. She was never one to do it for the art, script yes. Art no. So Kajol has put out feelers aka asked and if and when Kjo has the right script he will offer it to her. She rejected KANK I think that was clear enough that she will not work for just anything and she made fun of his Tooh song. I don't think their relationship will suffer.

As for Nawab and Begum, she will and must learn the lesson Nawab and Kajol who has a production company have learned. They suck together on screen. Both Ajay and Kajol, Bebo and Saif. Begum must learn to let go of the idea of acting with Nawab, else it will be another Agent Vinod. As for a movie, Kajol keeps doing voice over and other stuff for their company. Point of this essay, Bebo and Kajol have options few actresses have. They have always crafted their careers exactly the way they wanted to. It has not been what it should have been. But yeah, comeback and stay away is in their hands more than many actresses, even an Ash.

Because at some point if she keeps rejecting or takes a long break, she will become like an Ash or a Kajol as in semi-retired.

^ Yes at some point..but she doesn't need Saif right now. She was offered Durga Rani Singh. The Farhan film. Am sure there other films she was offered we don't know about.

Actually Saif also wanted to work with her in LAK. but Imtiaz wanted Deepika. So Saif couldn't do anything about it. Deepika or someone even mentioned how Saif wasn't nice to her and seemed distance because he wanted Bebo in the film. He said he wouldn't work with Bebo after AV flopped. It was a smart decision in my opinion. But if they get a good script..it can work for them. But usually real life couples are never a hit onscreen.
