They say that there are certain moments in life which last forever. The prom was such a moment for most teenagers; the photos, clothes and memories last forever in our hearts.

So it was with a lot of excitement that Geet grasped onto Maan's hand as she walked into the hall.

"This is so exciting" She squealed as she dragged him forward, "Look at us! Ready to party it out!"

Maan smirked, "Control yourself Geet-star! We wouldn't want to scare away everyone" He laughed at her as she stuck her tongue out.

"Well why shouldn't I be happy" She protested, "I am at the prom with my bestie! Where else would we want to be?"

"Absolutely nowhere else" Maan said seriously, no longer teasing or any humour in his tone, "Nowhere else"

For some reason the words made her turn to him, a question in her eyes. But that moment was broken by Vicky who came rushing over.

"Wow! Looks like there is a girl hidden under the school uniform after all" He teased Geet even as he pulled her in for a hug, "All jokes aside, you look amazing" He had a genuine look of admiration.

Geet blushed at his comment and gave a jovial punch but then she turned towards Maan again, "Thanks Vicks, but Maan over here owes me a dance" With that she pulled him towards the dance floor.
