Kumkum Bhagya Written Update for June 20th, 2014
The episode begins with Abhi and Pragya taking their phera's. He applies sindoor in his maang. The wedding is then complete. Pragya's mother tells her that like Pragya used to always tell her, she got married to whom she was destined to and is verey happy for her. On the other side, Bulbul and friends ask Abhi for money in return for his shoes. Aliya asks him to just give the money and get this over with. Abhi hands them stacks of money and Bulbul returns his shoes.
Bidaai takes place with Pragya and her whole family very emotional. Abhi simply walks away and talks to Tanu, who reminds him that the marriage is fake and only a matter of few days. Abhi bids her bye, saying he should go and put on some drama as well so they believe him. Pragya's mother asks Abhi to take care of Pragya and that she is a very good-hearted person. Abhi thinks of how wrong her mother thinks and wishes he could tell her the opposite and that he would never want to take care of Pragya. However, he remains silent and leaves. Both sit in the car. Looking out the window, Pragya sees Suresh and bids him bye, who returns the wave from his window.
At Abhi's house, grahpravesh ceremony takes place and it is assumed that Tanu walks in the same time as Pragya (I'm a bit confused at this scene.. did it really happen? Since she wasn't there right after, but Aliya was smirking..?) As Pragya enters the house, she remembers her moments with Abhi, the time he'd saved her from drowning, their meeting at the jewelry store, their wedding, the time when Abhi defended Pragya saying she is not only innocent but loyal as well.
Dadi says they should go rest, but Abhi's friends come and insist he give them a party. Abhi is more than willing to and convinces Dadi to let him go. Dadi allows but asks him to return early and then asks Nimrit to show Pragya to Abhi's room. She leaves from there and the rest of the family members do as well. Nimrit introduces herself to Pragya. Abhi leaves as well with his friends.
In Abhi's room, Nimrit talks to Pragya and tells her how much she likes Abhi's choice. Getting married to heroine or model only looks good in films. Pragya remains silent and they tease her, saying is she going to speak only to Abhi when he returns to tell him I love you.' Pragya's brother asks them to not bother Pragya and the sisters take him out of the room.
Once alone, Pragya remembers how she told Bulbul about her wanting a simple wedding and a small room, where she and her husband can plan their happy future; as she believed that large rooms brings separation, where as compared to small rooms, where you can even hear the person's heartbeat. Pragya then looks around to see how she has gotten just the opposite of what she'd dreamed of.
Bulbul and Rachna are trying to sleep but sleeps is miles away. They pretend to sleep when the other looks, but finally Racha gets out of bed. Bulbul gets up as well. Balbir comes in just then and asks them why they are still asleep. Bulbul tells her that they all have the same problem, the fever of missing Pragya. She wants to call her but Bulbir stops her from doing so and tells Bulbul that Pragya must be busy with the post-wedding ceremonies and that she'd be surrounded by her in-laws or Abhi. They can talk in the morning. Bulbul sulks, asking when will morning come? Reluctantly, they are put to bed.
Precap: It is the late in night and Pragya is out fetching a taxi, still in her wedding dress, looking very worried. She meets the driver and asks him where Abhi is. The driver gives her the flat number and Pragya goes to find him.
