"Antu..I still remember how we met." Raghu said.
"Me too Raghu!! I will never ever forget that!" Antara replied.
"Mom!!" Their little son Aarav came running towards Antara.
"Aww..my baby is here!" Antara said hugging him.
"Mom how did you and dadda meet?" He asked innocently.
"Come here! Dadda will tell you the story!" Raghu said placing his son on his lap.
Flashback
"Hey Rukhsana!", Antara said enthusiastically.
"Hey Antara! Met you after such a long time!! Really missed you Antu!!"Rukhsana replied and hugged her tightly.
"Missed you too Rukku!!" Antara said breaking the hug.
"By the way did you change your number or what?" Antara said.
"OMG! I totally forgot to give you my new number..here take it down!" Rukhsana said and gave Antara her number.
Before Antara could recheck the number..Rukhsana hugged her quickly and waved her goodbye.
"Gotta go Antu. Have class now!!"
"But wait.." Antara couldn't even finish her sentence and Rukhsana was gone.
At night
Antara decided to call Rukhsana.
"Hello ? Rukhsana?" Antara said.
On the other end Raghu was surprised to hear that.
"Umm no! I think you have dialled a wrong number! Rukhsana is not here!" He said.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" Antara said and disconnected the call.
After Antara disconnected the call Raghu was nervously playing with his phone. He had this immense desire to call Antara and talk to her. Her voice had somewhat intoxicated him and he couldn't concentrate on anything else since she had called.
"Should I call her? Nooo..am I crazy...what would she think?! Oh no..I have to call her!! Uugghh!! What do I do??" Raghu said constantly talking to himself.
At last he made up his mind to call her..
Antara saw Rukhsana's name flashing on the screen...she then realised that maybe it was the man she had accidentally called earlier...she decided not to pick up..but something forced her to receive his call.
"Hello!" Antara said softly.
Raghu was dazed..he didn't know how to respond.
"Hello!" He said with much difficulty. "I am sorry for calling you this late but I really wanted to talk to you! Hi! I'm Raghu! And you are??"
"Antara!" She managed to say.
"Hi Antara!! Wanna be friends? " Raghu said..he was silently praying to god.
Antara took some time to think..and then said "umm yeah why not!!"
"Awesome! !" Raghu said loudly with a huge smile on his face.
They talked about their likes and dislikes..interests. They were not even aware of the time..they were busy talking to each other!
"Umm..can I ask you something?" Raghu said not sure whether he should say it or not.
"Yeah sure! Shoot!!" Antara said enthusiastically.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" he finally said.
Antara smiled mischievously and said "No! Do you?"
"What boyfriend? No!" Raghu said teasing her.
"Haha! Not funny!"Antara said sarcastically.
"Hahaha! Sorry Antara. No I don't have a girlfriend! " Raghu said.
Suddenly Antara realized what time it was..
"OH CRAP!! It's 3!! I think we should sleep now!! Antara said.
"Do we need to sleep?? I want to talk to you!!" Raghu said like a little child.
Antara smiled at his innocence. "Yeah we need to sleep!"she said. "Good night Raghu !! I loved talking to you!!"
" Good night Antara!! Same here!!" Raghu said.
And then she disconnected the call .
Raghu lay on his bed smiling and thinking about Antara...Antara did the same.
The next day...
"Hey Antara! Send me a picture of yours!" Raghu said.
"Okay sure! And you too send me a picture of yours!!" Antara said happily.
Raghu's breathing became fast. He was dying to see how she looked like. His phone lit up with a text from Antara..she had sent him a pic of hers. Raghu took a deep breath and clicked on her image..and when he saw her he stopped breathing. He had never seen someone as beautiful as her! He kept staring at her pic for a long time.
Then came another text from Antara...
Oye!! What happened? Do I look that wierd? Now send me your photo quickly!"
Raghu looked through his pictures and sent her one.
Antara started drooling over his pic. "He is so handsome OMG!!!" Antara screamed.
She called Raghu instantly and said "You look really handsome Raghu! It's really surprising that you don't have a girlfriend!"
" What's even more surprising is that you are still single Antara! You are so beautiful!" Raghu said.
"Thanks Raghu!" Antara said..she was blushing continuously.
A month later...
"Let's meet Antara!"
"Yayy!! Sure!"
"How about tomorrow?"Raghu said.
"Sounds good!!"
The next day...
"OMG!! I can't believe I am going to meet her!" Raghu said talking to himself. "What do I wear?? Oh crap!! I need to look good!"
He finally got ready and took a deep breath. He was dying to meet her.
Antara too got ready. She looked beautiful as always. She looked at herself in the mirror for one last time and breathed! "I hope everything goes well!" She said softly.
At the cafe..
Raghu waited impatiently for Antara to come. Finally she entered and took his breath away..she was dressed so simply yet she looked beautiful. Antara looked at Raghu and smiled. Raghu stood up unable to move his eyes from her face.
"Hi Raghu!" She said drooling over an unbelievably handsome man who was standing in front of her.
"Hi Antara!" Raghu said taking deep breaths.
Antara was worried to see him like that.."Are you alright Raghu? You don't seem okay!" She said.
"Ye..yeah I am fine! Please take a seat!"
Both of them sat down together...Raghu kept staring at Antara and she kept looking down.
"Ahem ahem!" Antara cleared her throat to get his attention.
Raghu broke out of his trance immediately.
"So...lets order?" Antara said "Yeah sure!"
After eating they decided to go to the park for a walk.
They were walking together when Raghu suddenly caught her hand. Antara stopped walking and looked towards him.
"I don't know how you are going to react to this Antu..but I love you! I fell in love with your voice when you called me and after talking to you I realized that you are the one for me!" Raghu said and took a deep breath
Antara smiled.
"I wasn't sure whether I should receive your call but my heart forced me to talk to you! And after talking to you..and knowing you I fell in love with you too!" She said blushing.
Raghu didn't know know how to react. He immediately pulled her in for a hug. Antara hugged him back. He broke the hug and looked at her beautiful face..he bent in and planted a kiss on her cheek.
Flashback ends
"This is how mom and dadda met!" Raghu said to Aarav.
Aarav smiled and hugged his parents! Rantara smiled at each other.
I am so sorry for this crap. This didn't quite turn out to be what I had expected!
