Sony channel changing form?

This is in reference to this article. They say from now, Sony will have only crime shows and reality shows and no more soaps. While this actually makes no difference to me (because I don't watch soaps), the real picture seems to be something else.

They are planning to start a new channel which will have only soaps. This probably means that they don't consider Sony as a serious competitor to channels like Colors and Star Plus. Sony will cease to be in that league and the new channel will become their main point of focus.

This channel will turn into the cash cow and they'll focus on the growth of the new channel. I feel they are planning to kill off this channel gradually because it is known as a crime channel and soaps are not getting much TRP because of this image.

I really don't see anything good happening for our show at all. No budget for new clothes, no budget for decent writers...Veerta awards is anyway done away with.

After reading about this, I m in a Big Fear as SONY already Re Run same Epis lots more time and its really hard to airing EKLKBKG, ENCOUNTER, KBC all time as they had Less Epis and CP Epii already they re run so many time so all and all aakhri taan CID pr aa kr tootti hay and I dunt think that except CID/CP and KBC, no Reality Show little geared ppl to watched it 24/7 so kahein Sony forced FW that they wanted CID 7 days a Week...

Hope My Stupidity dead in My Mind only...

If thats true then it definately will have nothing more good for CID 😔

well no idea what's going on in sony's head's mind

they have launched shows with many very much popular faces but couldn't get any reward in return

sony was and is still able to survive due to cid only

and launching this new channel

who will watch new channel and new show when we are having quite a variety on tv already...

atleast m not...

but if they ruined cid more for this new channel, i gonna boycott sony whether old or new...

If they really wanted to pay attention to it's new channel only,they would have telecasted yuddh on Sony 2 rather than Sony.
They did the same with Max recently,because Max usually is busy with sports or confused genre of films,now it only airs sports and new films with Max 2 airing classics.
I guess the change is for good and the cost cutting was all for opening a new channel.

Sony tv has been famous,popular and surviving till now because of crime shows and cid...
they just cant side line this fact...
Making Saas bahu serials alone cannot increase Trp...

hope this new channel wont affect cid in any way and wish some budget was allotted for cid...

Sony is now airing old CID episodes for 10-12 hours.. What next? Will they air CID 4 days a week if only Crime and Reality shows air on this channel? Whatever, hope CID will not suffer to a big extent due to the changes.

i have no problem with re-runs

i do not mind them even for a whole day

but i just want the quality of the new episodes to restore and not ruin further
