What's in store for Sony's new channel?

 

According to our source, "The new channel will have only the fiction shows. The company had been in talks with the producers to get some new ideas which were never seen before. Also they are planning for a grand launch of the channel in the coming weeks. Though, the parent company is yet to finalize the dates of the launch."

 

When asked about the current channel, our khabroo says, "The present channel will run as it is but will only have reality and crime based shows like Encounter, CID, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and Kaun Banega Crorepati."

 

So all the fiction shows on Sony TV is going off air, "For now only Bade Aache Lagte Hai will see an abrupt end. The channel is figuring out about their other shows. Also they are talking about bringing the Jaya Bachchan's debut daily show on the new channel. Well there is lots of planning going on and in few weeks everyone will come to know about the same."

 

We have heard that Karan Singh Grover is going to produce a show for Sony? "Well yes he is in talks with the channel and if things go right, his show may be featured on the new Sony Pal," concludes the source.
