Why do men in India like dressing up as women

I don't understand why men in India like dressing up as women . Are they trying to say that they make better women as well?

its not only in india in others country to many r famous in doing dis , i remeber only one ryt now Ali Saleem who is known as Begum Nawazish Ali, i saw him in big boss ,he is man but dress like women

Not all the men but definitely the entertainment industry men love decking up as a woman!
It's been seen in so many films or shows!
they don't even get it's not funny anymore and actually insulting to the transgenders!

It's not men in India, it's mainly just comedians. Robin Williams any one? Tracey Morgan? It's just for comedy's sake, and I don't find it offensive at all.

The whole Palak fiasco is so annoying... I am ready for the day when public bids him bye bye... Not sure why some men are obsessed dressing up like woman... crazy people.

Kiku is bound by contract to participate as Palak. Also this type of cross dressing for comic relief famous not only in India but across the world. If some people think that is unusual, then he unfortunately is in minority.
