Yea Balwant is a disappointment as a father. He has done a grave injustice to his older daughter, just so he can have a nice and peaceful life with his new wife and family!! I wont blame Chanchali if she totally hates Balwant. He deserves it.
Yes I am happy that she didn't grow up in that house, coz to be honest, Bansuri would have ruined her life too. If she treated Gunjan like someone she picked up at the market, instead of her own child... What can we expect her to treat Chanchali as? She would have tried her level best to make the sisters hate each other too! It would have been a disaster!!
Balwant is a hypocrite calling Baldev Nalayak etc. Has he been an exemplary person in his OWN life? No. So it is rich coming from him, how Baldev should be. Yes some of his points are valid. But considering the way he has failed all three of his children, I don't think he is in a position to preach to anyone!!
