After killing him, Tannu may have found out that the property is not hers and hence she took Ahil's jurm (not truly his) on her head and went to jail presuming Nawab would have named everything to his only son. This would basically make Ahil her pawn for life.

However, I think that Badi Begum who is parallel to Badi Bi in season 2 would have made announcement to Tannu in jail that just having Ahil in her control is not enough. You know how these stupid old ladies have a penchant for laying their cards out in the open.

After BB's challenge, Tannu put her sister on the task of getting the will out of BB and set herself on the path of completely controlling Ahil, just in case.

Now like in the movie Beta - the will will put everything in the name of Ahil's wife. This will lead to Sahil nikah...
