I was thinking the same thing. Other than 'hello' which was a badly made film, every CB book based film has done well. And Gopal is a good role- mainstream hero and romantic role but fits rajkumar perfectly. It was a chance for him to get a big hit in a 'hero wala' role.

Quite possible. Anyway, we shall come to know when the leading man is finalised. They chose an unconventional looking guy, guy next door type of simple guy for the role of gopal. Now if they choose suddenly a very different mould actor then it wud explain.

But what is so special about the book? 😆 The book looked like a remake of a run off the mill Bollywood romantic film!

I am so sure Chetan Bhagat is bringing yet another screenplay of a Bollywood flick than a book this October! No prizes for guessing, it's again a love story!😵
