Monday June 04

Megala

Director : vikramadhithan.

1 The place is kulalambur,Malaysia. A man( he was doing the role moorthy earlier in malargal) is sitting waiting for his daughter who is praying in the temple entrance with the kanda shasti playing.The daughter comes and calls him and he asks shall we go and both go to some place in car and they show some tall buildings in malaysia with sad background music.

2. They both come to a place and the receptionist asks if he isDileepan and guides him to some place.
they show somebody 's photo with manmohan singh etc..seems to be a big man(even in sze). He calls Dileepan and tells him that he has talked about his matter to Inspector and he calls Inspector and two men comes and this big guy introduces him to the inspector as dileepan and akss the inspectors to help dileepan.

3. The two inspector asks whats the matter..Dileepan tells that his wife is missing for 7 months..They asks the girl who is she and he says he is his daugter.Inspector asks she is missing for 7 months and now he is complaining..He says he has been searching for her..and Inspector asks him why she left..
he says they fought with each other as she spent some money for expenses..so dileepan scolded her..she got angry and she didnt talk for long and one day.. left the house. Dileepan says she is also an orphan and he is also an orphan...and thier beloved is their only daughter prasanna..
Inspector doubts if he is telling the truth...as he is complaining after 7 months...Dileepan says he searched on his own and he trusted that she woudl come..Inspector asks why he doesnt have hopes now..
Dileepan says he is scared now and his daughter is missing her toomuch nowadays and gets scared in the night and requests the inspector to believe as he loves his wife very much..
Inspector says they would do their best. They ask her name and he says her name is Megala and gives her photo to them( Saro of metti oli). and when he starts...the daughter prasanna asks the inspector if his mom will come soon..and says she likes her mom very much..and she sleeps in the night hugging her mom and requests inspector that if he sees her mom, they shoudl tell her that she brushes on her own in the morning..Inspector says he mom would come soon..dileepan says she is missing her mom very much.tahst why she is upset..
After they leave.the inspectors feel sorry for Prasanna and tells megala should come soon atleast for her daughter..

4. They show the board Welcome to Thrissur . Kerala..and the place is thrissur,..An astrolger comes to a house and calls azhagappan and tells he has brought manikandan's daughter horoscope for his son and ask him to discuss and tell him the result. Azhagappan says he would do that.
Azhagappan calls his wife lakshmi(Kuyili) They both go to their son for discussing about this.
Visu( Yogendran) is their son. They call him and tells about manikandan's daughter's horoscope and mani's interest in giving his daughter to him..Visu gets irritated and turns.His dad asks why he is not talking.
At that time, he speaks to somebosy in malayalam calling him Mad and telling he wont understand even if told many times..His dad tells he understands that he is insulting him indirectly..His son tells they are only insulting him without understanding his feelings. His mom gets angry and shouts at him that hsi dad is worried about his life and he is doing bad thing..They try to convince him..but he says nothing doing and he asks him to drop this idea..they says he is the only son ..and he tells they are not understanding his feeling and only they are selfish in satisfying their ego by marrying him,getting grand children etc..
His mom gets more angry and loses temper for talking disrespecfully..goes inside and brings a big photo and breaks it..It is again photo of a Megala...And scolds his son for talking against their parents..and stops her husband who tries to stop her...His mom scolds who is she..some orphan who is spoiling the family now..
Visu looks sadly at the photo..His mom cries saying as he has become mad..and he is only thinking of her...
and she doesnt even remeber 25%...where did she goo... not even a phone..not even a letter..she talks badly that she cannot stay in one place...and asks him to forget her..
Visu takes the broken glass and hurts him..Lakshmi and Azhagappan gets upset and asks it is his desicion.
if somebody else has spoken..i would have killed...because she is my mom i am punishing myself..his parents says they wont talk again like that and becomes upset.
His parents calls his servant daas to take him to hospital..Daas tells its natural for the parents wishing his son to be married..Visu says they are not understanding his feelings.they dont know how he loved megala..and she is created with my spine only as said in books..and looks at the photo..

5.Now it is Bangalore, karnataka..In a big bungalow, a big blow up photo of Megala..
An old man being treated by doctor..Doctor tells problem is with you and you have to contol your BP without straining himself...The old man says only if he dies he will be relaxed..doctor asks not to say so..the old man says only if he understands his mana ulaichals...and tells ur medicines will not stop me from dying..only my missing daughter megala is holding my breath and urge to see her..else i would have died long back..
Doctor says that searching Megala for 3 years and he should think practically.doctor leaves telling his manager to take care..Manager gets sign in a cheque..The old man asks if there is any development..
The manager says about the profit in a compant etc..the old man stops him saying he is asking about finding megala..this is being overheard by another man outside..and the old man shouts at teh manger for being helpless.he comes outside.
The man tells the manager this perusu is shouting at you too much..the manager tells its all his thalai ezhuthu..the man gives teh manager a advice telling if the old man asks next time about his daughter..tell him that since she has been missing for 3 years..she must have dead..the manager says if you know one thing you wouldnot talk like this..and tells that he wrote the will yesterday..all teh property on Megala...an if she is not found in next 10 years, it will go to some asharam..
The man scold disrespectfully the old man...the manager inssists the importance of megala to him..
and tells once she is found ,somehow he should get the property,,,
the man tells if she is alive or not who knows. The manager again insists that she should be alive..only then some property he will get...

6. In some place near andra chennai border, they show megala teaching in blind school.

Tuesday, June 05

1. Now some small village called rajapuram near Andhra chennai border.
In a Blind school, Megala is teaching thirukural to blind girls. When teaching she hiccups 3 times.
One girl asks if same person is thinking of her thrice or three persons are thinking of her.
Megala just smiles at her and ask her to concentrate on the lesson ..
She explains the thirukuram that Not the peopel who cannot see are blind..only uneducated people are blind

and you are all studying so you are all not blind.When she asks the students to repeat..She finds one girl

called shanthi crying.Megala asks her the reason and she tells she is thinking of how to die..Megals becomes

shocked at her answer and asks the reason why she is thinking like that at this yound age.
AT that time, all girls hearing shanthi;s voice talks among themseleves is shanthi gonna tell teacher that what

she said to everybody.

2.Megala takes her aways and asks her to tell what happened.Shanthi cries and tells the warden

purushothaman is misbehaved with me and she cries saying only eyes are blind not the body..and cries so

much..megala gets shocked to hear this..Shanthi tells she is scared if something happen to her..at that time

another blind girl comes saying..tos anthi not to get scared as he would have given some tablet..Megala get

smore shocked.The other girl tells she is also one of the victim..and tells purushotaman tells them that they

cant see their beauty .thats y he is enjoying their beauty..

3. Megala gets angry and takes both the girls to purushothaman and shouts at him..But he is cool..saying he

knows what he is doing wrong but he doesnt care!!!..Megala threatens him..but he is very cool saying even if u

complaint police ..only those two gir;s name gets spoiled ..so asks megala to do whatever she wants..
Megala gets angry but looks helpless..Those two girls says let us go from here teacher..

4. In the temple, purushothaman is praying.Priest brings aarathi...at that time a girl with big black glasses

takes the arati and gets hurt in the camphor flame..Purushothaman also sees that girl when she shouts in

pain.Priest tells if she can see that aarati ..The girl tells she is blind.Purushotaman now has bad eye on her.
And she talks nicely quoting bharatiar's poems..thekul viralai..Purushotaman appreciates her knowledge.
He goes behind her..and asks her if she has come alone..She says yes and when she was about to fall he

hold her..she takes his hands from her..Purusotam asks if he can help her..she says if he doesnt mind, he

can help her till the car.She intoduces herself as neelima..purushotaham tells she will be surprised if he tells

where he works..he says he works for blind school..and he does this service because when blind are happy

he like to see happiness in their face..Neelima talks nicely to him appreciating his service ..Puru tells more

she talks, more she is becoming beautiful..Neelima becomes happy saying is she beautiful and she doesnt

know till then that she is beautiful..

5.Neelima says she has come by car and asks puru to check if there is a car parked.He sees a van and says

yes..Neelima asks him to take her to the car.He takes her ans asks where is the driver..Neelima says he

must have gone somewhere..Megala is standing behind the car.
Neelima drops her stick and asks puru to take it for him..when he bends she pushes him in the car and asks

megala to take the car soon..Puru get sshocked and threatens her that she will have to face teh

consequences..But neelima is very bold and points a gun at him..Megala looks scared and driving the car..
Puru sees megala and asks even she is in the plan and they have to face the consequences..neelima asks

him to shut up taht they are enjoying with him..then he requests them to leave..and then he starts crying..
On the way , a man is sitting and calls somebody babu..another man comes and asks its long time that he

had come to this place. The man tells if he has come means something wrong is happened in teh place...
At that time car in which megala and co is there comes..and stops..Megala looks scared all the way..
Neelima tells he is known person only and ask megala to open the door.He comes and sits next to

megala.and tells neeliama has told about puru to him.
He tells he is siva andasks what megala wanted for puru..Megala says he should be punished.
Siva says for that only he has come..Megala tells there is no police station nearby..
Siva says even he can punish him..not necessarily police..
siava asks Megala to stop in the left

Wednesday, June 6

1.Megala is driving as per siva's instructions. He asks Megala to stop in one no man's land..and two men join them.Megala gets scared and asks Neelima where they are taking him instead of police station.Siva asks neelima to send megala away as she should not come beond this point. Neelima asks megala to take the van and leave it in the same place where the took.Megala is very tensed and takes the van and goes..on the way an oldwoman comes in btw and falls.Megala gets down and requests here that we go to hospital..But old lady says thats ok she is allright and praises megala for taking care unlike others who just hit and run..
She says her parents should be very lucky to have as her daughter..who is so caring

2. They immediately show an elder couple and another man introduces to his friend that he is Kalaiarasan and his wife Thilaka..and introduces their children..
1. Sakthi 2. Cherian 3. Kanmani(vidya of malargal) and 4. Keerthana,,,,and last they introduce shanmugavadivu(vadivukarasi as his elder sister).She is shown as arrogant and dominant lady.
The 4 children of Kalaiarasu makes fun and laughs aloud..Shanmugavadivu warns at them for behaving like a mad and laughing aloud.Shakthi, the eldest tells thats ok but they should not say they are not at all smiling like their aunt shanmugavadivu..She gets angry and turns her face.kaliarasan asks their children to obey their aunt


3. The function is an award ceremony hosted to give award to kalaiarasan for best businessman.There are many chief guests in the stage.One is Siddiq , the producer.Kalaiarasan is called and asked to give some speech.Initially he is nervous and starts with how he came to chennai from karaikudi with hope as the main thing and now he succeeded.He tells for every success of a man there is a woman and he praises about the woman for the support etc.. and says she wants her to get the award on his behalf.
Thilaka, his wife and his 4 chidren are eagely waiting that he is gonna say that the woman is his wife ,,
And his 4 children asks thilaka to get up and to be ready to go to the stage...
Thilaka also gets up. But Kalaiarasan says that is his eldest sister Shanmuga vadivu.Thilaka becomes insulted and bends her head ...and shanmugavadivu proudly gets up and gives a sly look on thilaka..Alll his children get upset on this..Shanmugavadivu goes to the stage and siddiq gives the awad to shanVadivu..
All his children asks his mom that they will go away and they dont want to stay there anymore...Thilaka asks them to be patient and asks them to sit.

4. Now dinner buffet..Kalaiarasan brings a plate with food to his sister ..She says why this much..and there a man comes and says last year also kalaiarasan should have got this award and because of political reason he missed it.Shanmugavadivu says his brother has achieved a lot and its bad that they have missed him..Kalaiarasan finds his wife and children standing without taking food. He comes and asks why they are here and not taking food..His last daughter keerthana tells they dont like it..he asks without tasting how come they say they dont like it...She says they dont like whats happening there..

5.At that time, a lady comes and asks kaliarasan if he remembers her..kalaiarasan says no.But the lady tells even if he forgets ,thilaka can never forget as she delivered her first baby when she joined the duty.She cannot forget as her daughter is the first delivery she attended..Kalaiarasan thinks for a while and remembers..Thilaka also rememberes but she keeps quiet with sad face..The lady tells she can never forget as she had lot of tension as its her first delivery in her profession and now she has seen 1000's of deliveries....and asks kalaiarasan to introduce their children..he introduces shakthi,cherian,kanmani and keerthana...the doctor asks where is the first daughter Megala who she did the delivery for thilaka..Thilaka gives a mixed expression of sadness,fear and pain..shanmugavadivu joins the scene and looks tensed and keeps hand on head as if she is expecting an headache..Everybody keeps quite..the children are surprised..The doctor herself asks if she is married and left..Kalaiarasan tells she is dead..All his children gets shocked except thilaka who cries silently..

June 07 Thursday,

1. continuation of yesterday.The doctor enquires about the eldest daughter.And kalaiarasan tells she is dead and thilaka cries.Doctor insists how come at young age..Kalaiarasana says not to talk about that anymore.
Doctor apologises and leaves. The children asks their mom thilaka that let us leave the place.
They all come home. kalaiarasan calls his children address hey kazhudhaigala..come down..
The all children come down.

2. Kalaiarasan scolds them for insulting him in the party and not giving respect to elders.Keerthana tells they came angrily because he insulted their mom.Kanmani tells only with mom's parents money that he started the business but you called aunt to the stage and insulted our mom..Thilaka just keeps crying quietly.
Kalaiarasan tells next time i will call ur mom to the stage..They also ask why they told megala is dead.
Shanmugavadivu tells what he would say about a girl who tried to kill me and ran away.Kalaiarasan asks their children to go and sleep..Kalaiarasan calls his son and gives money to get food for everbody as the didnt have any food.

3. Shanmugavadivu tells it is thilaka's plan to provoke their children to talk against them and always remaining quiet.Kalaiarasan asks thilaka to bring water as he had become thirsty talking to their children..she brings water ..kalaiarasan asks if she is teaching their children to talk against them.Thilaka keeps quiet at his questions,Kaliarasan gets angry and holds his hair ..she weeps silently..Kalaiarasan tells even if their 4 children talk against them..it doesnt matter to him as the are his children unlike her first daughter Megala..Thilaka closes her ears..shanmugavadivu also joins the verbal torture.
Thilaka tells kaliarasan... all these 25 years you are doubting ur own kid as somebod's kid..and i feel sad for living with you for these years...Shanmugavadivu tells yes they have done a mistake by keeping her even after they come to know her shame..Thilaka agains asks them not to talk about her like that..shanmugavadivu tells she is not kalaiarasan's daughter as she tried to kill shanmugavadivu..and tells they should have chased out initially itself..Thilaka tells they kept her because the wanted her money..and request them not kill slowly by telling that megala is not his daughter..she tells she is alive because she has hope that one day she would find megala and also the other children should not become motherless..Shanmugavadivu tells megala would have died.. Thilaka requests her not to talk like that...They both leave the room..and thilaka hears an old song neelavanna kanna vada..

4. In other place megala also listens to that song and remembers her mom..Neelima comes and tells her mom doesnt deserve her affection as she is not good lady and asks megala not to miss her..Megala gets angr and asks not to talk bad about her mom.Neelima tells megala is good and affectionate,,,but megala;s dad is not at all human and her mom sacrificed listening to her husband so she says she doesnt consider her parents as good..at that time neelima gets a call...and talks for a while.
Megala asks who called and whats matter...She says the have given punishment to purushothaman..
Megala asks what punishment..she sas he is made blind..Megala gets shocked and sas she feels tensed and nervous..neelima says no need to feel so for the things he has done..
Megala says for this..he should have been killed better..neelima says thats also done.
Megala gets shocked..

Friday, June 8.

Brief update of Friday as i was little busy while watching.

1. Police finds the purushothaman's body and finds something written on a board saying he deserves this for the wrong doings.Police comes to the ashram and enquires.
The two girls who complained to Megala gets nervous.Megala too gets nervous.But nobody opens their mouth during the enquiry.Police says they know that two women are involved in this and they would find out soon.
Megala looks scared even after the police left.

2. New Family is being introduced. I am not very familiar with the names ..so i will write their original names or with the ref of previous serials.

They first showed srilekha(in malargal she is karpagam's mom). She buys all kinds of fish from a street vendor and introduces her family members who likes each kind of fish.
First they show Vinuchakravarthy who is her husband..and doing finace business lending money for interests..
He is shown as doing pooja for lakshmi for long time...asking to increase his wealth more and more.
Second they show their son (seems to be a drunkard sleeping on the ground in his room)...(he is Paandi of malargal and Kalidas of muhurtham).
Third they show their daughter (revathy of Malargal) who eats too much..it seems...along with her husband who is staying here itself and dummy kind of person who eats whatever his wife left...
And they show another guy(new) who seems to be very active and responsible..but not their own son..but they treat him kindly...That responsible guy's mom also stays with them..sheis shown doing all house hold work and calls vinuchakravarthy as mama..and she is also treated as part of the house..
Vinuchakravathy is introduced as a guy who is very much interested in wealth..and they all are shown as good eaters..and srilekha is prepaing to cook each kind of fish for each person..

3. Kaliarasan comes to vinuchakravarhty and asks for loan from him..he gives his visiting card to him and explains about his business and he would return that money in 2 months ..and he wants that for a rotation.
Vinu takes his visitng cards and tells he would call him after a day..Kalaiarasan leaves.After he left, vinu calls that responsible guy to go and enquire about all his businesses before agreeing to lend him money.

Episode No 13.

Starts In Dhandapani's house. A couple with their daughter are
shown. Chandru ( D's 1st son) Padmini ( DIL no. 1) and kutti
the grand daughter. Mrs. D gives coffee. Mr. D complains about
not having his 1st son around to help him in business. Bhoopathy
(2nd son) comes and gives a customary welcome to his bro and SIL.
He tries to rush out to meet friends but stopped by D. D wants
Sakthi's photo to be shown and B obliges. After that, he goes out
saying that he wants to get the opinion of his friends about his fiiance.
D disapproves his act but Mrs.D silences him.

Tamarai enters followed by her baggage husband, takes one look
at the new comers and wants to flee. Mrs. D wants her to welcome
Chandru and Padmini and Tamarai picks up a fight. Tamarai is
married to Padmini's bro - and Padmini is married to Tamarai's
bro. Tamarai chides her bro for not living with his parents only to
be silenced by Padmini " Nee un purushanode enge veetle ozhunga
iruntha na inge unga annanode kudumbam nadathi yiruppen,
Un vai kozhuppu, sandai pottu engalai viratittu ippo
enna pechu?"

(Lots of useless chatter - just to show that this is the kind of
house hold that Sakthi will be getting in to - Of course Sakthi
too has a fiery temper - T would be meeting her match soon!!!)

Mrs. D waves the white flag and asks Tamarai to be ready for
the "girl seeing" ceremony that evening. Tamarai makes a big fuss
and says that she wont come as she has not been asked any
opinion in girl selection. Rushes out saying " pchu, pchu" to her
hubby who follows her like a faithful puppy. Outside Tamarai says
that she is going to the beauty parlor to "polish yetha" - hubby is
stunned to hear - "Teak wood kku polish ok but ivalukku..."
never the less follows her.

On the way Tamarai sees one Govindamma who owes money.
Govindamma runs and T runs behind her.(was fun to see a very
pregnant T running a la P.T.Usha!!!) Finally, she catches her in
the temple and collects what ever is in the surukku pai. T goes
to the Poosari who again owes her 7,500 Rs. He begs T for
some more time. T condescends but says that he has to pay
interest for interest. Poosari's jaw drops -making way for at
least a duck to go thro!!!

Neelima goes to a place where her fellow activists are seated.
Begs the chief to help and get Megs out of the police station.
The chief gives a lecture as to how there should be no personal
likes and dislikes but in the end says that he will do something.

Police station: An inspector comes and wants to know if Megs
confessed. The yettu and constable tell him that in spite of
" sariuana murai visaranai" Megs says that she is innocent.
The lady constable says that Neelima is the room mate of Megs
and has connection to the activists group. If Megs doles out info
then they can catch the group. Inspector gets Megs out and gives
her some water. Megs has been beaten black and blue. The inspector
talks to her gently saying that she looks innocent and he can help
her only if she comes out with the truth.He asks her
" Un ooru ethu? unga appa , amma yaaru?" Megs gives one of
her usual looks - freeze on her saucer like eyes !!!!!

I am doing the written update for the first time so incase of any mistakes please forgive me..

Tamarai and her hubby on the way to beauty parlour.Just when tamarai is about to enter the parlour shakti bumps into tamarai with her bike.there is a clash between them .finally they enter in the parlour but again inside tamarai tries to dominate and says she entered first so she has to be attended first.Infact tamarai and shakti get into and hot argument .Tamarai ends explaining how black is always praised etc...she ends coming out of the parlour without doing anything.shakti's friend anita comes to meet diwakar {shakti's boyfriend} in the restuarant.she keeps questioning diwakar about what is the problem between the two of them.He tries to explain all that happened in his house where shakti just doesnot understand the situation of diwakar's parents and just because of her anger she spoke back to his parents.D says that shakti also said that he is not the only man in the world...
anita tries to console him but he says shakti doesn't recieve his call and he is busy with some work in the office so unable to meet her in person.anita in return promises to slove their difference.they depart.diwakar is about to enter the lift just then dhandapani's son {shakti's going to be would be} enters lift there is a beep heard diwakar says the lift is overload so 1 person has to get down but although diwakar got in first he is been thrown out of the lift.In the police station they get information that whatever megala had said regarding her stay in malaysia and her flash back turns to be ture....
so the police says that if she says who was behind the group they will let her go....
Meantime A lawyer comes to bail megala.but the police strictly says that neelima's group does justice for people in need then why an innocent friend of her's is still in jail and no one has come to help her.he also says that let neelima surrender he will let megala go

Episode 14 - (26 th June.)

Police Station - Ramagiri - Interrogation
of M(egala) continues. The inspector is still
kind to her in spite of occasional outbursts
from the yettu and constable woman. M calls
herself an orphan who was raised in an
ashram - she does not want to divulge info
about her parents.

When asked how she met N(eelima), goes
in to a flash back. M was working in Malaysia
for a while and came back to India as things
did not work well. She came to Chitoor in search
of a job and stayed in a lodge for a night.
The lodge housed the activists group to which
N belongs. The police raided the place
and arrested all of them - M included.
The court remanded them to custody and sent
them to the sub jail. The chief of the
activists group with his henchmen
broke the sub jail and freed his group.
Since M was a witness to all this, they
took her along.

The inspector asks the yettu to verify
all the info given - the Malaysian work place,
Chittor work place etc., - once that is done
he plans to decide what to do with M. M goes
back to the lock up.

Bangalore - Vishnu and friend still searching
for M. V doubts that there is some link between
M and the rich old man. Since, they were not
allowed to see the old man at home, they decide
to meet him at his office .......Thodarum

< =text/> episode starts in shaktis house.Her friend anita comes to meet her she sees shakti putting nail polish on her palms inreturn anita says she understands how disturbed she is.Anita tries to convience shakti and wants them to be together.But shakti is in her usual angry mood all her bla bla bla....... is on with anita the result in the end is she is not feeling sorry for diwakar infact she is cool she asks anita to go and tell diwakar also to be cool and take things lightly.Anita tries her best to support diwakar but shakti refuses and tries to get ready for the evening ceremony.
In a hotel room they show a group of guys with dhandapani's son(bhoopathi) playing cards where he loses everything ...bhoopathi d's son says he doesn't have money to play. one of his friends say what if doesn't have money just then shakti's photo fells from his pokect and the friend says he can bid on her...bhoopathi gets angry and they fight during this they enter the room where diwakar is having meeting with his delegates finally bhoopathi and his group spoil diwakars meeting ..the delegates leave angrily diwakar calls the police.
neelima tries to surrender and rescue megala shiva from the group doen't agree to neelima's idea but their leader agrees saying they don't want an innocent to suffer and accepts neelima's decision under one condition that she should not disclose anything about their group what may come....she agrees and leave.neelima is on her way to jail.She calls Anita and tells to help megala when she comes to chennai as she has no one in chennai...
Shakti is getting ready there is usual galatta by her sister's
In the hotel police arrives and diwakar sees that bhoopathi and his friends are arrested .police take them in custody and bhoopathi angrily looks at diwakar and leave.

Episode 17
episode starts in dhandapani's house all are getting ready for penn parka cermony to go to shakti's place.Tamarai looks very funny with make up.
