Good Afternoon everybody 😃

A request to everybody - on 18th June - JodhaAkbar will complete one year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I want to make a thread next Sunday about the one year journey of Jodha and Jalal.

Let us all who love JodhaAkbar share our favorites moments. Would all of you write something over the week and share that next Sunday?
It can be anything - your favorite episode, your favorite Jodha-Jalal moment, dialogue, scene, track, look etc.

I thought it will be very difficult to come with a Sunday thread when I absolutely hated the Ruk pardoned by Jalal and Jodha giving him kasam to do so. Thanks and big hugs to all the members here, whose posts and threads made me realize how much I love Jodha and Jalal. Special thanks to Ela and Mansi for their threads.

I sincerely wish that Jodha and Jalal are allowed to remain humans by CVs - especially Jodha! The Jodha I love is the fiery, proud, brave, sensitive, astute one - who did not stand for any nonsense from anybody - least of all Rukayya! The Teda Jalal who used to read the eyes and gauge the truth behind the action!

We LOVED the SR episode cos those Jodha and Jalal were so much in love, so vulnerable and so human! Please bring them back!!!

It is one thing to show Ruk pardoned and another to try to fob us viewers off with the idea that Ruk did it out of love! CVs tried this on MA truth track also - where they let MA have the glorious justification that she did it because she as a mother-in-law was jealous of the son now not listening to her!!! Really CVs! WHO BOUGHT IT YOU THINK????

CVs - aap ke Rukayya obsession ke bills Jodha ke naam me maat fadana please!!! So that your "Jaan" can roam around freely to plot and cheat and lie and what could be next on your agenda? Jodha's MC by Rukayya? 😡🤢. So that everybody can tut tut for Ruk saying but how can poor Ruk be at fault - Jodha made Jalal pardon her?! So it is all Jodha's fault!

This must be only TV serial which continues to rule the TRPs

- where the channel does not care or bother to promote it - where they do not ever promote the best episodes!

- Where the CVs seem to HATE the leads and try to butcher their characters so they they can continue their love affair with the vamps and villains!

CVs let Ruk be your "Jaan" do not stuff her down viewers throat with "love"! An abrasive, abusive, violent woman, whose selfish nature and obsession for Audha makes her go to the extent of lowering the dignity of her husband and cheat every person who loves her! Ruk who does not care how her action will make her husband feel?!

I am now starting to believe the comments that not the characters but the off screen equations seem to be dictating the screen time and treatment of the characters!!! Is this true? Let us see might get the answer this week! For the first time I want to cheer MA and wish she does Ruk's bhandafod in big way!

As for Todarmal, Maan Singh, MH, Adga K ---- guys dress up in drag and post selfies to get more screen space, the "saucier" the better!

The ending of tracks (if Ruk FP track is really ended 😕) is getting bizzare! CVs TORTURED us with the DHAKKA word and oh howww muchhh we waited for Rahim to read the paigam and what we got Jodha realize truth tamely and not even share it with Jalal!

It seems like their tracks are like a getting to be like longer and longer train journey where we can't wait it for to end - where some passing by scenery makes us forget how fed up with the journey we are - we arrive at the station with an expectation of a beautiful place and some pleasant memories only to be told ok you looked out of the station at the scenery - board this new train which is going to take even longer to take you to your destination! All the viewers waiting for FINALLY SOME PAYBACK TO Ruk got was a Babaji ka Thallu!!!!

Hope the next week brings smiles to all us JodhaAkbar fans 😃

"People don't change... They just change their mask" This is so applicable to

Ruk who just wears a mask of civility in Jalal's presence...hope Jodha sees this and reevaluates her compulsive forgiving behavior...Ruk won't change but I'd would love to see her evolve as a Human being...for her own good...Jalal and Jodha are gradually evolving ..they still have a long way to go.

In a striking contrast,

Mahabharata episode yesterday and the day before was about Lord Krishna motivating Arjun to get over his emotions and punish his loved ones for supporting adharma...when Adharmi are ignorant and cannot look at the knowledge, then punishment is the only answer... Actually it is mercy to them...

Don't get me wrong... I am not comparing the two...But was fascinated by the contrast...in one forgiving the guilty is shown as an act of kindness while in the other punishing a guilty means righteousness.

Coming to the episode , all I can say is what was that 😕 .. all the build up for Ruqaiyya's grt exposure and tai tai phiss 😕

I m mad at everyone actually from Jalal to Jodha to Ruqaiyya to CVs 🤢🤢

First of all why different rules for Maham and Ruqaiyya when both did similar mistake of trying to separate Jalal and jodha ?? .. If Maham cant b forgiven for Sujamal matter , then Ruqaiyya's sin is even more big the way she made a mockery of a sensitive subject like pregnency knowing well how Jalal is emotionally attached to it .. How on earth can Jalal think of forgiving her for this sin even if Jodha gives those lectures about forgiveness which well she did during Maham's time too going by her basic nature

And coming to Jodha , can CVs stop making her so great plss .. I love seeing the human Jodha who complained to Jalal about her jealousy in love before consummation .. thats the Jodha I want to see and not this one who tomorrow might ask Jalal to forgive Adham , Shariff everyone else as and when they r exposed one by one 😳

Jalal is suddenly looking so weak and helpless and Jodha is suddenly looking all saintly forgiving and forgetting everything so that the villains in Agra can now hv a cake walk because Jalal-Jodha r epitome of forgiveness na

Maham should protest on this 😆 .. Yeah first time I might support Maham if she manages to expose Ruqaiyya in front of everyone in the DEK and ask for Justice from Jalal because if Maham was stripped off from her duties as punishment then why should Ruqaiyya go scotfree for such a big lie ?? Approve

I hated the whole Jalal-Jodha interaction for the first time because it made no sense ... As per Jodha , all Ruqaiyya did is out of her insecurity and fear of loosing her best friend ... errr so tomorrow if Ruqaiyya even murders Jodha in fear of loosing Jalal , she should b forgiven too na going by the whole logic of forgiveness Ermm

And Jalal's reaction to such a big lie was a bit off too ... he dint look much affected as if his friendship and love for Ruqaiyya sort of overshadowed his hate for her ... Ruqaiyya is really lucky that way unlike Maham worst was Jalal too lying to all about Ruqaiyya's MC ShockedShocked ... Oh well his silence to the whole matter is nothing less than lieing and taking all for a ride na

Dunno why CVs had to introduce this fake pregnancy track in first place D'oh

It is said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely...These two women -MA and Ruku enjoyed absolute power of Jalal to certain extent ...It got them corrupted...They both had absolute trust of Jalal and he refused to listen anything against them...Obviously they both got taken away...and it was not as if only these two were on the wrong...Jalal joined them too in these various power games...but with Jo coming these equations started changing and Jalal too started changing...but these two women could not,, hence they hated Jodha...for changing him...If only Jalal had openly declared Ruku's name in moorthi kaand , and in Suja fiasco...I dont think that Ruku would have dared to go to such extent...

JJ pardoned Ruku so that they dont feel guilty abt her...that was their motive...but Ruku wont understand their motive...She is not happy that she got pardon from Jalal becoz Jo asked him to forgive Ruku...This is ultimate insult for Ruku...Ruku is too full of pride...To understand Jo's gesture she needs a bit of sensitivity and gravity of her crime...She lacks in both department and so she will commit greater crimes...

Ruqlal scene was shot perfectly and all three PS, RT and LT were superb...direction was superb and so was bg music...Air was thick with tension of broken relationship , lies and betrayal...and when Jalal enters Ruku's hojra and speaks, the BG music was superb and camera zooms from Jallu to Ruku and Ruku's shocked expressions...PS too was superb when she was listening to Ruku's nautanki dialogues before Jallu enters...Ruqlal relationship is no longer same and will never be...I loved the way Ruku keeps calling him but Jallu doesn't stop...This is an indication for future that her voice will never reach his ears now and he wont stop to listen to her...In other words lessening of her influence...Lavina's pained expressions when he does not stop were superb...Thumbs Up...Very senstively shot scene...

Contrast JJ scene with Ruqlal scene...In this scene building of relationship is shown...Air is filled with pain and sadness but not lack of trust...Jo sits close to Jallu on ground...indicating humbleness of Jo...Love makes one humble ...In opposite contrast with Ruku who wanted to put her portrait on Jallu's head...Jallu shares with Jo his intimate and personal emotions and his lack of childhood...and Jo understands and gives him support...and then she feeds him...In this scene Jo is in various roles i.e. of lover , wife and also a mother to him...He also misses his mother becoz of his lack of child hood...These various emotional needs of his are being fulfilled by Jo...The scene is full of tenderness of a woman who loves her man to the hilt...RT and PS nailed the scene well...

By akdhalover

Indeed jj scene was marvellous

RT n PS were superlike!

Jo is a perfect example of how a wife should behave in a critical moment supporting her husband!

Jalal can find everything in her a passionate lover, friend , wife , mother ... She is capable of carrying of any role in his life whenever he will need!

You know in that scene dono k aankhon se pyaar tapak raha tha 😳

Such relations are precious n rarely found! 😳

What more a person wants if they have mutual understanding can Understand each other's pain!

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength lyk jo gives jalal n while loving someone deeply gives you courage what jo gets from jalal to fight any odds in present situation n this is also reversd in other situation!😳

He never will trust her again!

How the hell can Ruk blame Jo for her condition???

Was she the one who told her not to go to Jalal when he needed a shoulder to cry on after khan baba's death?? Was she the one who told her to give more importance to these materialistic stuff??? Most importantly was she who told to hit Jalal on the spot where it hurts the most to fake her pregnancy to give him such a wound which will never heal!!

When she never understood Jalal his emotions how can she claim she did all this out of love!

In love it is a situation like chhoot kisi ko lagti hai n dard kisi r ko hota hai!

When she couldn't get his pain how will she get his love??

This is quoted from the interview Paridhi gave about JodhaAkbar soon to complete one year. I really wish we get to see similar interview of Rajat also.

"I would give a big thanks to all my lovely fans for supporting and loving us. Their comments on the forums reach to me and I read it with full heart which helps me to come out whenever I feel de-motivated. Their efforts are appreciable and commendable."

Paridhi has said she does read the forum posts 😃😃😃 I hope she knows how much we love her Jodha. 👏

I loved these comments on Paridhi/Jodha

Bamonforever

Thanks for sharing this beautiful interview of my beautiful Pari, true blue royal girl she is offscreen also. Unlike SV , she didn't bad mouth him, whereas she has much more right to do so. Shows the difference in class of these two people.

My princess rocks, so professional, so sweet , so elegant , n so very positive n frank n truthful, very rare qualities in TV actors nowadays.

Proud to be your fan , Paridhi Sharma, queen of Tellywood. Thumbs Up

Donjas

Whatever Paridhi is doing, she is connecting with the audience. According to the latest Ormax survey, Jodha is once again the most popular fictional character in the country. Sadly for us, Rajat's Akbar does not even feature in the top 5.

Donjas has made a thread - "Help the CVs thread"

our suggestions for the tracks we would love to see in Jodha Akbar. Please contribute 😃

You can either say that CV is making Jodha Mahan (like what forum has started and it's going get better by tomorrow) or CV hates Jodha so much that they want to put everything on her shoulder and love Ruqaiyya a lot that she is so glorified, she is having all their love, care, sympathy and empathy ...now people will definitely will forget what Ruk did - all would say that Jalal was going to punish if not because of Jodha. They will say it is all Jodha's fault, Ruk is not punished what she did is worse than Ruk's FP and of course Jalal will receive his share of bashing as well for listening to her. I think only villains of the show are spared and saved from bashing.

I would not believe otherwise unless they are doing this so that MA breaks everything in front of everyone.. or Jalal is actually playing some 'chess' with her and trying to do something smart or Ruk forgets Jalal's reminder not to cheat him again does something more sickening to receive her due..until then enjoy more Ruqlal, more hugs, forehead kisses, chess and etc - don't be surprise if Jodha specifically asks Jalal to spend more time with Ruqaiyya so that she doesn't repeat something like this.

Nothing changed - especially Jalal Jodha Ruqaiyya equation not for now - I guess the arrogance would be there, the insult too, Jalal would be more cautious, he admitted right it's his fault, he neglected Ruk so there is no way I see him reprimanding her or even scolding her for anything. Jodha as ever the other woman, mostly because she wants to be the other woman I guess or CV wants it- so the jelousy before SR is quite confusing, is it only so that SR can be staged. I don't understand the game the Cv is playing...I don't like it too

I don't feel bad for both Js hiding the truth form everyone and forgive Ruk. That is ok with me, forgiving is personal. You want to save face, yours and also Ruk's, ok fine. My issue is only with Cv for the treatment of the whole fiasco.

I see Jodha's justification on Ruk as Cv's justification for her behavior. They have made as if whatever Ruk did was out of love like how they justified MA's when in fact viewers know both didn't do anything out of love. It's more of for power, I didn't see love in Ruk when she created scene after the attack in Jungle -she said she is angry because her right as BEK is taken away when she is not informed first. There was no love story between Ruk and Jalal before - but now Cv is trying to create one by so easily playing with words like 'mohabbat' and 'jaan' between them, justifying Ruk's malice.

What I see, most viewers have stopped cribbing Ruk for her FP but started to curse and cuss Jodha. When Jalal is so 'easily convinced' to forgive Ruk and didn't even say anything in private to reprimand her - that is glorifying wrong doing by giving excuses, no matter how right are the justifications sound, a wrong is wrong, I don't find Cv is being so responsible in showing something like that. I understand about different perceptions but I believe right and wrong is sometime very clear. In Ruk's case what she did to her friend/husband/King is wrong, no question about it and for Cv to justify that she did it out love and let her scoot free so easily is so low. Unless this forgiveness is going to bring a very positively changed Ruk, which I doubt.

Jodha is not bothered that her husband is cheated, his dreams shattered, - the same husband and dream for which she was ready to be a servant. Jalal is not bothered his so called love was treated like bandhi for no reason..ok fine Jodha understands jealousy and insecurity now so she could empathizes with Ruk and he was doing it for Jodha's kasam but does he need to be so good to Ruqaiya even in private, she is no child, no child would play such a dangerous game - he could have said right look I am doing this because Jodha asked me, and it's necessary to save the Mughal's dignity but don't be so happy about it, I can't forgive you that easily. What is so great about her friendship that he was thanking Jodha for saving it, - at least he could have said I don't like it a bit but I am doing this just because you asked. If CV is going to show what they showed yesterday at least they could have come up with better and realistic dialogues...

Moreover, it shouldn't be that easy to forgive this type of wrong doing in a kingdom - it goes closer to treason, if Ruk was not caught by Jalal she would have even try to pass someone else child as waris - she could, she is impulsive and selfish. Is it so easy for King to forget and forgive this? Isn't that Ruk was the one who made one of the Begums killed by Jalal in one of the earlier episodes for trying to pass someone else child as Jalal???

PS: They have forgotten their own show again - what I saw last Friday's epi I know that was a class apart.

Najma123

I, najma, solemnly take an oath, to never ever mention 'Ruqaiya Begum' or any other reference to her in any of my posts ever again as a mark of apathy towards her.

Very nice collection of posts. My only hope for the serial is that the CV's try something different. Even if this serial lasts only a few months more, if in those months we get to see novel ideas, new ways of behavior of the protagonists and unexpected situations, it will be worth it.
That is why the entry of the new villainess Mahchuhak is exciting, I expect she will be a different kind of foe.

lovely collection of posts Maddy...agree with all of them.😃
I toh only want this CB-Shehnaz crap to end soon! this is giving me headache...🥱

this is by Divya from June 12th episode...a different take on JJ forgiving Ruqu...read on😃

Jalal and Jodha are still intact to a certain extent ...

(1) I actually liked four things with Jalal today:
- He understands the gravity of what Ruqaiyya did ... It is not like he is dismissing it as not a mistake (as he did with Shivani) ... That was clear from his outburst to Jodha. And he included Jodha and her seva in the list of grievances , so he does understand.
- By hiding this matter, he did save the Mughal Sultanate's izzat ... At least for now
- He understood that somewhere he was at fault for Ruqaiyya's insecurity that she was no longer important to him ... Which I think is partially true, he never directly addressed it and was now asking her to directly come to him if she had any issues. I always appreciate
- When he was rubbing (I wouldn't call it caressing) Ruqaiyya's head there was something very threatening and uncomfortable about it ... As if this was her last chance, and then disaster will strike.

I still feel he may have a painful, slow-poison type punishment in mind for Ruqaiyya so shaayad picture abhi baakhi hain ... And as Jodha said when she forgave Bakshi Bano, forgiving is the biggest punishment and guilt can be a true teacher.

Now, the only question is will Ruqs learn or commit the third strike!

(2) Jodha is being extremely consistent with character ... Why are folks suddenly upset with her?

This is Jodha- who was able to forgive Bakshi Bano and Shariffudhin, when she didn't do anything directly to hurt them. And here, Jodha feels she came in between Jalal and Ruqaiyya, why would she not ask Jalal to forgive her now?

And if Begum-e-Khaas falls in the eyes of everyone, it is an insult to the entire Mughal Sultanate.

If anything, some folks were upset that Jodha did not apply those same rules of forgiveness to Jalal (or at least as quickly) ... But her asking him to forgive Ruqaiyya is completely in line with character.

But the biggest issue is that it feels unfair that Ruqaiyya is forgiven for the following three reasons ..here is how I calmed down

(3) Why does Ruqaiyya's mistakes always forgiven by Jalal?

Up to the Ben track, Jalal never punished Ruqaiyya for her insults of and plots against Jodha ... Because he typically made the same mistakes as her or was part of the plot. He just was better at apologizing and learning from them. But, that being said, how could he punish Ruqaiyya for what he did as well?

After the Ben track, the first crime Ruqaiyya did against Jodha was the Murthi Khaand. That to Jalal was her first strike ... He let go citing that it was her first mistake.

Then, there was Ruqs trusting Maham Anga and helping her execute the Sujamal plan. Again, Ruqs fault was trusting Maham Anga that Jodha was wrong. But Jalal made the same mistake. How can Jalal punish her?

Now, this is the second major strike ... Here Jalal was given a kasam by Jodha to forgive her.

But for sure, either the third strike won't happen, or nothing will stop Jalal in the third strike ... How I hope it is the former.

(4) Why does only Jodha get the public insults?

Yes, Jodha has been publicly insulted but the circumstances were different and the issue was already in the DEK, .e.g., Sujamal fiasco.

And, even when it came to Jodha, Jalal did not insult her publicly during the fake pregnancy track which was a similarly sensitive topic. He thought she had committed infidelity and he did not breathe a word to anyone about it. Once Maham Anga leaked it to the public, he took the fault on himself and even faced the public on it.

(5) Won't Maham Anga bring this up as double standards and insult Jalal in DEK for this?

First, I am not entirely convinced on how Maham Anga will unravel and prove Ruqaiyya's fake pregnancy in the DEK ... I don't trust the Zee operators as they could have changed the track.

But, even if Maham Anga does, how can she cite this as the only example of unfair standards? As Ruqaiyya was not the first person Jalal has forgiven for insulting the Mughal Sultanate. It would also be unfair to how he forgave Bakshi Bano, Sharifudhin, Shivani, and even Adham Khan.

As the biggest victim is Jalal, he has the right to choose the punishment.

Maham Anga's crime with the Sujamal crime I still think was worse on a few dimensions:
- She failed in her administrative / official role of wazir-e-aliya by letting Sujamal in and causing the death of many Mughal soldiers
- She led to the public insult of a begum- Jodha
- Her intent was not only to separate Jodha and Jalal but destroy Jodha's reputation

And of course we know her track record is much worse than that of Ruqaiyya!

Look, writing this made me feel better ... But it likely didn't make anyone feel better. In which case there are four sources of hope for the future:
- Jalal may have another type of punishment in store for her
- Ruqaiyya may actually learn her lesson and be reformed and dignified moving forward ... Which is likely more in line with history
- Ruqaiyya may still be publicly insulted by MA's unraveling in DEK according to the Zee Operator
- Ruqaiyya will make a third strike and then she will be officially out (to use baseball lingo)
