From the many times I have read the HP books..... I can tell that JK has many names that mean somethin. I found 2 but if u guys can find more that would be gre8!!

Here r the ones I found:

"Petunia" Drusley: named after a flower which looks like this:

"Pansy" Parkinson: is also a flower which looks like this:

So do u guys know any?

Well, both Sirius & Regulus are stars.. & as far as i know, i think part of d same constellation...

really?
I always knew that Petuina was a flower but I dident know that Pansy was one untill I was doing a crossword.. N a flower started with a P n ended with Y so my sis told me to try Pansy. I went online n really it was a flower. Sooo... thats how I found out.

hey

since this wasnt on that list from that link, i thought i would add it here.....

fleur delacour in french (fleur de la cour) means "flower of the courtyard"

but if u added an 'e' in delacour, so that it was spelled "delacoeur" (pronouced the same way as "delacour"), it would then mean "flower of the heart" (yeah it's kinda stretched out a bit)
