I have this feeling that Ayesha will turn out to be Nilofer's adopted daughter. She would be Pankhuri's twin who would have been either kidnapped from the hospital or lost during some pilgrimage etc. And Nilofer found her and adopted her. This is why she doesn't want Ayesha to interact too much with Pankhuri's family and gets nervous everytime someone asks about Ayesha's past.
