A row broke out at Leena Mogre's gym in Bandra on Saturday. Aditya Roy Kapur was unwittingly at the centre of the fracas.
Around 10pm, model and former Bigg Boss contestant Asif Azim, along with a group of other models, walked up to the fitness centre's reception and complained that they were facing the consequences of Aditya's stardom. Asif claimed that the trainers were not attending to them because of Adity'a presence.
The story goes that while Aditya was working out, most trainers at Mogre's gym only had eyes for the young actor and ignored the other clients. This did not sit well with not only Asif but other members as well.
An eyewitness told Mirror, "Aditya is working on getting 6 packs for a certain film.When he dropped in on Saturday around 10pm, the trainers were free and were starstruck. They crowded around, watching him and the others in the gym were ignored."
When the models complained, tempers flared and a heated exchange followed at the reception.Added the witness, "The senior staff was summoned or the situation would have got out of hand."
Meanwhile, Aditya went on with his workout oblivious to the commotion.
When contacted Asif, he denied any unpleasant interaction with the gym staff: "I have a great body, I do not need trainers." But the gym's owner Leena Mogre confirmed the story, "We took stock of the situation and soon everything was under control."
