Is ZOYA AKHTAR overrated, is her NEXT just HYPE?

ZOYA AKHTAR has done only two movies and her next is awaited. 😊 But, in a way is she overrated or to early to say? All her movies have been multi-starrers. Her next with Ranveer, Peecee, Anuskha, etc. can either tank or become one of the biggest hits in 2015. It seems like a typical concept, but perhaps ZOYA can save the day. Please share your thoughts. Is ZOYA AKHTAR overrated, is her NEXT just HYPE? 😉

I liked Luck By Chance .. simply because of all the realistic stories of bollywood people ... direction itself was alright, could have been better.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara had a good concept too but again at places, it looked over-dramatic ..

So, I would say that Zoya has a knack of picking good subjects and assemble a good cast ... but purely direction wise she is strictly average

I have to add that in KWK episode, at some instances, she was acting all pseudo intellectual and super arrogant .. phew .. lady no guy would not take a NO from you .. get real

I don't know about overrated, but I can say with a fair bit of certainty Zoya is currently troubled what with reports of Deepika and Virat in the love boat ermm...cruise ship 😛 😆

I don't think so..I enjoyed ZNMD and Talaash. Didn't like Luck By Chance..have to watch it again to give it a fair chance.

Luck by chance sucked but znmd was amazing. I loved that movie. Taalash was good too.

Talaash was produced by Farhan, directed by Reema Kagti. So ZNMD was her only hit. Luck By Chance was a flop and got mixed reviews. I hope she does better with her third film Erotic Granny. 😊
