i agree with each point mohini..he really is a gem and a true sher..he cares for every1..even ranvi's family as he wanted to save them their house..he did hear bansuri but he still did it

from overall pov I agree,

but, balwant was never evil with Baldev, always pointed out to his mistakes. his comparison tactic has proven worthless. but again with Baldev , bansuri was like his ultimate shield... defending virtually every Baldev antique...

with gunjan, bansuri Baldev duo were always on top of her, who knows how long Baldev took to develop right basics... balwant was usually away , gunjan again never really had any shielding from him. balwant instead made it worse by at times scolding or punishing Baldev, leading to more harsher times for gunjan from mum son duo.. gunjan also told ranvi, balwant wad just left arguing even during her bday...

I had to put this here, cos thread is about Baldev, but with gunjan state also.. though Baldev focused... but that's ok... really. just outlining the difference... Baldev basics going right are easy to see and compliment... but with gunjan she fell into a downward spiral coz of a more torturous upbringing...be4 anyone misunderstands me, I want to make it clear that her upbringing Shud not have led to her current dhamakas... its all to do with a brain gone on an extended vacation. and again is on a downward spiral... afterall she is cv's special chemistry set...

Great post, Mohini.😊 Baldev has a lot of depth to him and is much more than I expected him to be. Despite him growing up without receiving his father's love, he has evolved so much and we get to see a different side of him whether it be vulnerable or caring. He needs to have a confrontation with Balwant where he expresses all of his repressed feelings. Balwant needs to take responsibility and forgive him for his mistakes and act like a real father to him and begin to bond. I wish they would've shown the confrontation prior to Balwant getting a heart attack so we could've seen Balwant showing that he cares for Baldev during the hospital scene. Baldev really is a diamond in the rough and I love him more everyday. 😳

agreed...Im dying to see an intense confrontation between them on this matter...and I know Vish...being such an expressive actor he is...will rock in that scene!
Its high time Balwant realises the true worth of his son!
