Kishore on 1st :D does he even deserve to be in 1st ??? he was preety average singer with no classical knowledge :(...he even left a tough gayeki based song he left the studio for M.rafi as he accepted his defeat song was nafrat ke hai duniya...a singer who can not sing and have trianed in Classical could never be ahead of some one who knows classical...Sonu justified the 2nd position ...he can sing any genre easily ..1st should be the greatest of all Muhammad rafi Sahab

In my opinion it should be Rafi Saab, Kishore Da and Talat Mehmood then Sonu Nigam and then the rest. ⭐️

I also think Jagjit Singh deserves a spot in this list.

:p to be very honest as a singer Sonu Nigam is far better singer then Kishore kumar with all due respect kishore couldnt able to sing classical raaga based songs like Sonu did in Classicaly Mild album and there are many semi classical stuff sonu did in films ... even the great Mana dey said to Sonu for his classical ability that " Sonu you are born in wrong era you should have been born in my era so dat i could have given you a healthy compitition" ... Commercialy kishore was popular then Mana dey but as a singer he was very limited and for dat overrated he wasnt versatile like Rafi sb or Sonu he could never be able to sing songs like laga chunri main daag kind of classical stuff of mana dey even..or madhu ban main radika nachi thi..Man tarpat hari darshan ko aj of rafi sahab... A singer who was less in term of classical singing can never rated better then someone who knows classical



1st should be Rafi sahab the greatest of all no one can match him :) Sonu should be Some where before kishore if truely technical singing is concernd

And even Singer Shaan said i followed kishore kumar because kishore da ke ganay asaan lagte thay his songs were easy .. rafi sahab range and gayeki was difficult to attain

What on earth is wrong with filmfare

With all due respect, I don't see anyone else doing justice to the kind of songs Kishore da sang, idc if they were easy songs or he sang it in a really basic way. However he sang it, I've loved it and I know many others that have loved it too. Many of the songs Kishore Da sang are classics, and he is amazing in his own way.

I don't know the technicalities of singing, I just have an interest in old hindi film music so excuse me if i've said anything wrong. For me, Rafi Saab and Kishore Da's contribution to hindi film music is unparalleled, and that's probably why I rate them right at the top. Sonu is amazing no doubt, and he has sung an Abhi Mujh Mein Kahi as well as a Tera Pallu Sarka Jaaye Re, but I don't see him in the same light as either Rafi saab or Kishore da at the moment. Maybe later.

it could be your love for kihore but am talking about singing technicalites where kishore lacks the song nafrat ke hai duniya he himself stepback by saying i can not sing this difficult song it can only be sung by m.rafi kishore had some memorable song like o mere dil ke chain or hume tumse pyar kitna but all those can not define kishore singing capabilites as to judge a singer capacity one always look to how much they are trained to sing classical as its only way to know a singer voice control over his voice :) so in technicalities Sonu is way ahead then kishore kumar . not dat i dont like him he is one of my fav but fact remains the fact kishore was never trained in classical

Really?? My fav and a staple from the 90s, Kumar Sanu is not even on this list.
