Dharma Productions' birthday present to Karan Johar this year was a two-part slideshow of the filmmaker with his many friends, mostly taken on the sets of the films he's directed. Karan Johar turned 42 on May 25 and the videos, titled Down Memory Lane With Karan Johar, were uploaded on Dharma's official YouTube channel. (Pics: Inside Karan's Birthday Party)

Part one is dedicated to Karan's best friend Shah Rukh Khan and offers glimpses of the filming of films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan.

Part two stars photos of Karan's other friends and colleagues including Amitabh, Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta. Karan's former and future friend Salman Khan also makes an appearance, from the filming of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in which he played a cameo role.
