Karunya and Amey

We are addicted to this season of Indian Idol and have our favorites: Emon, Mayang, Yuvika, Richa and all... they are all very promising and hope to see their talent come out even more through the following episodes.

Having said that, no one has really stood out like Karunya and Amey last season... I remember I had seen Karunya's 1st audition round and he was my favorite last season... They were both a totally different class altogether.

Hope I am taken by surprise and these contestents match up too, but so far have not seen that... II2 was extremely lucky to have a gem like Karunya and another one like Amey... Still they goofed up and we did not see an Amey Karunya final (which would have thrown the TRPs off the roof)...

Yeah, you are right .. they are exceptionally talented .. but I guess it's too early for us to say that one like that exist in this season ..
I waiting to see the Piano rounds ...

Richa was really awesome in the auditions .. So I guess I still have some hope left .. I also loved Meiyang's performances ... so just hoping that they get by .. 😊

It's too early for me to say 'nobody stood out like Amey or Karunya'... Amey was my favorite last season but he became my fav. only after he sang "Tu hi re" in the piano round... so I guess I will wait till piano round to find Ameys and Karunyas of II3.. 😛

shantanu richa n parleen stood out to me in auditions this time..
last season i was amey's fan since tanhai d song he sang in d audition n him n meenal were d ones who stood out to me..dis season dese 3 gt my attention frst..so i m hoping dey turn out to be as good as amey!

yeah they are really good this season but Amey and Karu were the best from last season 👏 😳

We said the same about II 2 vs II 1 that there the quality was better in II 1 with some great singers like Prajakta, Aditi, Rahul S and Rahul V, Amit Sana, Abijeet .. now the same is gonna happen..

However, I felt II 2 was a let down..barring Karunya, Amey, Meenal and Panna, I didnt think any of the singers were upto any mark.. Which was rpetty sad..

This year, the top 28 look VERY promising but nothing can be said about the people who vote, the aam janta..I guess we will find out soon

Of course Karunya and Amey were good last season. I am Karunya fan from his Audition round. He samg Sukhwinder songs so well that even a Punjabi singer cannot even compete with him. But II3 we will see surprises in Piano round because contestants will get one day break to perform. So many singers messed up in Theatre round becasue it was for two continous days a t a strange place and they didn't sleep becasue of the tension and nervousness but now they got some time to relax and practice, they will look lot fresher on Friday.

there is alot of quantity in good singers in II3
just not as good quality as amey or karunya

Last II only those 2 impressed me. I didn't like other contestants except for one or two songs from Antara or Meenal. In season 1 there were far better singers and I think there were at least 5-6 who were good.

I think this season we have more potential if Sony others to show us more songs. I would compare this season with II-1. But one thing is sure II-2's Amey and Karunya had 5-6 singers' calibre.
