Biwi no 1 was the 2nd highest grosser ,HSSH was the top grosser in 1999.
Anyways my fav song from the movie

Hum Saath Saath Hain was declared most successful film of 1999

Yes it was not at level of HAHK & MPK. But it was a blockbuster & Super hit overseas. Highest grossing too.

BOI recently updated its verdict to Blockbuster. But it as definitely successful and ahead other films in collections.

BTW, Biwi No.1 was close second. I used to like this film as a kid. I love Chunari Chunari song and also, title track.

This was a good movie, Karishma and Sallu were cute. Anil Kapoor and Shushmita were annoying in the film. Not a big fan of the songs.
