I am quitting Zee Titan Antakshari too:

"Titan Antakshari" host Karan Oberoy alleges that Zee TV is neglecting the show and so he has decided to quit. Now he is busy with live shows and scoring the background music of a fulm. We recently talked to him to find out the truth behind his quitting "Titan Antakshari". Here is the excerpt.

Q: There are rumours that you have decided to quit the show "Titan Antakshri". Please say something about it?
A: Yes, I have decided to quit the show because I have felt that "Titan Antakshri" is being neglected.Zee In this show, I have shot for 5-6 hours for every episode as a host, but when I saw the episode it was shocking for me.

They had removed my dancing and singing scenes. It is a musical show, how can any one do like this. I have talked to the editor about it, but there was no result from the conversation. They said that it is a 20-25 minute show and that's why we had to remove those scenes.

I have also tried a lot to talk to the creative head Payal Patel, but she always ignores me saying 'I am very much busy with "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa", so talk to me later.' I have become fed up because of this attitude. The TRP of this show is high because the whole team is working hard for its popularity. We have given our 100% to this show.

This is a fact that I have never worked only for money. Money is not a motivation for me. Zee T.V. is ignoring my talent and labour.

Q: Are you hosting any other T.V. show?
A: No, I am not hosting any T.V. show. I am doing some live shows in New Delhi. I like to do live shows

Q: Are you doing any T.V serial now?
A: No.

Q: Earlier you had done T V. serials. What happened now?
A: That was a different time when I had done T V. serials. But nowadays, good serials are not being made.

Q: Are you interested in direction?
A: Not in direction, but I am interested in production. I am planning to produce 9-10 serials. However, it is not in final stage.

Q: Say some thing about Band Of Boys?
A: Band Of Boys has decided to work with Nexus. We will do some shows together. We are doing fusion experiment.

Q: Are you interested in films?
A: There is a film titles "68 Panne". We are committed for the sound track of this movie.

Q: Is Mona Singh working for your album?
A: Yes, she is featuring in it.

Q: How long to get married? It has been waiting for long.
A: I am not feeling comfortable answering this question.
