ARY film awards: Terrible is the word

I understand Pakistan is new to this award thing but wow were they bad? Duhhh ofcoursee.. I mean like learn by watching.. There has been some great examples, Oscars, BAFTA heck even filmfare and IIFA.. learn something..

Why did everyone had to talk sooo much on the stage.. the show went on for a good 4 hours.. started at 8 and ended at 12:30.. I agree there's commercials and I actually timed them they were 7-8 min commercials every 30 to 35 min so if I deduct that the show still went for more than 3.5 hours.. and how many awards did they present? like 30 maybe? even less.. No where in this world have I seen technical award winners talking sooo much.. a total fail in terms of time management..

Hosting: Terrible again.. barring Fahad and Momo's skit everything was so bad.. Hamza Ali Abbasi was a tad bit better along with Fahad.. but Sarwat was literally reading her lines she didn't memorize anything.. and who was Fahad making those signals to? on the stage in the middle of his hosting? It was all so messy and unorganized..

Performances: Sucked.. nobody can dance.. the song and the dance beats were not even in coordination.. someone please tell Humayun he's a big fail as a dancer.. 🤢 Mathira was cringe worthy puke worthy everything.. Sheheryar and Sohai were a little bit better.. but whoever choreographed did a very poor job..

Shaan-Ali fiasco: Okay who does Shaan think he is? king of this world? He should be happy if anyone from Pakistan is making a name internationally it's Ali Zafar.. Okay I agree he has his own point of view and he stated that.. then Ali came and said his point of view.. the argument should have ended there.. Shaan came back and said so many more things.. when Rahat won an award he said "jo bahar jaake acha kaam karte hain unka kaam nazar aata hai" he continuously took gibes at Ali Zafar.. so ARY pretty much called Ali Zafar gave him an award and were like okay you're here to get humiliated.. Shaan has no right whatsoever to keep picking on someone like that.. to top it off Babra Shareef and Syed Noor said the same thing.. I mean what the hell was happening? it was like an Ali Zafar beizatti contest.. how cheap is that? I felt really bad for the guy.. Okay you don't acknowledge him as an actor who works in Indian movie atleast have some respect for him.. he's one of the few people who revived the music industry.. Channo, Rangeen and what not.. there was a time when Ali Zafar was a rage in the music industry and that's how he got popular.. Why can't they be happy with someone else's success.. why keep cutting into each others business.. I was a Shaan fan but not anymore.. he took a gibe at Reema too.. when he said she remembered everything and he remembered nothing.. I mean he was at loggerheads with everyone.. totally disappointed with Shaan.. how manner-less.. and no one at the whole event had the courage to go against him.. wow.. how diplomatic..🤢

AAHHH.. that being said the show was a complete disaster.. whoever wrote the hosting script needs to be fired..

and Humayun before presenting the award laughed at Ayesha 😆 they're done with eachother.. Ayesha Khan brought someone with her ehh? I don't know who that was but Ayesha won't be working with Humayun anymore.. neither is Ushna working with him anymore..😆

oh GOD itny bezzti ki shaan ne Ali Ki?

Firstly, this was the first ever film Award function in Pakistan & I am proud if the fact they went quiet good. All these osacrs & Iffa's are here since Decades. They were not as bad as your making them to be. We needw to gavew them some time & I am very much sure they would every time with each passing year.

As far as hosting is concerned, yeah Sarwat was reading every line. Where as , fahad was good & Hamza & Ayesha also did a nice job. I still remember watching Lara dutta few years back hosting iffa & she was litreally fumbling.

Performances were strictly okay. But I still feel we have good enough dancers, the only thing we lack is good music. & Pakistan has no pritam, making all those party anthems, it would take some time. Let's appreciate the fact that the danced on Pakistani songs.

& lastly as far as Mr.Saeed & Ayesha Khan are concerned, Ayesha thanked him for his "unconditional love & support". Ayesha just did a serial called Shukk in his Production & she would soon be appearing with him in another serial under his Production. It would be there on Ary. & he didn't laughed at her he was just giggling.

I think Shaan has no right to criticize Ali Zafar because everyone should have freedom to do whatever they like but within the limits and that should not be humiliating for the country.

Shaan's opinion. BUT, to insult Ali Zafar like that is just wrong, I have a mix bag of feelings for Ali Zafar but the guy is talented, he did well in Pakistan and Alhamdullilah doing okay in India. I'm surprised Shaan said something like that? So rude and uncalled for. What's the point of giving Ali Zafar an award if you were planning on insulting/humiliating in front of the fellow celebs...Shaan's looking horrible no offence...

I am sure if Ali Zafar was offered a film right now in Pakistan and has no other commitments that clash with it he would do it.

Shaan has a stick up his wrongun now cause someone comes in and snatches all the attention right from under his nose, he throws a fit and panics. So much for his humble "down to earth" facade, it all went for a toss.

It's one thing to be patriotic and another to be an ignorant closed minded fool.

The way Shaan talked was so uncalled for and rude.. Ali came on stage and he gave his reasoning so nicely he was joking about it.. and then Shaan came again with his pathetic patriotism which wasn't patriotism but cheap rudeness..🤢

Also I didn't quite get the correlation between doing a film in India and being there for your country till your last drop of blood. Lol, talk about filmi dramatics.
