I kinda agree with Shan on some levels. I think what Shan meant was that as a Pakistani your first duty is to your country.
Like for example: You own a piece of land and instead of working on it and making it abaad, you go and start working on someone else's land and earn money and reap what you sow and then you claim, "see i am such a good worker and my work produced fruits and flowers and everyone recognized my efforts" but at the end of the day your own land is still empty...
The above is just an example...
Shan said in his speech.. I prefer being an A list actor in my country than being a D list actor in other countries. Which again he is right.. i mean to be honest Ali Zafar should have just stuck to music and music videos, all the indian movies i have seen him act in are downright pathetic. He cannot act PERIOD!
Shan did over-go with the constant jibes and that i think was hit below the belt especially for someone his standard and class.
