Finally they agreed and assigning everyone their positions,Vicky,Rey and Taani set off for the abandoned factory...each of them lost in their thoughts...Taani's phone buzzed...After checking
the name,
Taani:Rey,your mother...
Rey looked at her surprised but took the phone...
Rey:hello..mom..
Rajshree:Reyyyu...Thank god...mujhe laga wo ladki hogi...tu bina pooche camp pe kaise jaa sakta hain...do you know how much tensed i was...
Rey:(confused) konsi camp...
Rajshree:konsi camp..konsi camp ka kya matlab...tumhare college se phone aaya ki tum sab koi dance camp keliye jaa rahe ho...iska matlab...
Rey:ohh...camp...haan..haan hum sab wahin hain...
Rajshree:tumhara phone ko kya hua...
Rey:wo...wo...phone..phone allowed nahi hain...
Rajshree:seriously...apna kayal rakhna...aur haan uss ladki se bolna ki jab main phone karoon tho tumhe milna chahiye...
Rey:mom...yahan ka rule hain...lekin main koshish karoonga...
Taani tapped him indicating that time is over...
Rey:mom..i need to go..bye..love you..muahh..
Rajshree:love you too..apna dyan rakhna..
Rey handed over the phone to Taani.
Rey:thank you...
Taani smiled...
Vicky:aunty ne kya kaha...
Rey:kuch nahi...later...so what are we going to do when we reach there...
Taani:girls ko neeche ek room main band kiya hain...do guards honge door ke paas...entrance par 5 or six...
Vicky:tum in sab se ladne waali ho kya...
Taani:obviously no...main aur Rey back door se ander jaayenge and girls ko bahar laayenge...Vicky you should make the busy at that time...do anything...
Vicky:(slamming the break)whattt...Taani this is not fair...what if they do something...
Taani:i trust you...i know you can do it...so wahan 10 or 12 girls...sab ko leke jaane main...i guess 15 minutes..yep...
Vicky:kuch gadad hua tho...
Taani:trust me...i have done this many times before...
Rey:lekin yeh sab tumhe kaise pata...i mean how did you know this kind of deal was going to happen
Taani:(grinning)all you need is to learn how to forgive...(looking out)i think we have reached...
Vicky:Taani main tumhare saath aaonga...Rey se bholo na..wahan jaane ko
Rey:huh..
Taani:Vicky...tum hi yeh kar sakte ho...please...humare pass time nahi hain...now go...
Vicky:but..
Rey,Taani:GOOO...
Vicky steps out and slowly goes to the entrance...from his body language it was clear that he was hell scared...
Rey:oyee...(Vicky turns)Jaii mata di...
Making a face he marched off...
Taani:abhi hamme bhi jana hoga...

Taani leads Rey through a gate to back door of the factory...
Taani:kaka ne bataya tha...store room main girls ko rakha gaya hain...
Rey:store room kahan hain...
Taani:wo...mene nahi poocha...
Rey:tum bhi na...iss whole factory main hamme store room doondh ke ghoomna padega kya...
Taani:shhh...dheere bolo...mujhe kuch awaaz sunayi de raha hain...I think store room uss taraf hain
Rey:tumhe kaise pata...
Taani:Rey..shhh...he told there will two men outside the room...
Both tip toed to the side that Taani pointed...Rey noticed two men comming in their direction and pulls Taani behind a pillar...Taani was taken aback by this sudden actionand looks at Rey
confused...Rey pulls her closer to him and bend forward a little to peep out...Taani was intently looking at him...observing his anxiety,tension or whatever it was...in a way she was lost in him...
she looked at the hand that was hugging her and then at him...Her eyes were getting a little wet seeing his concern...she knew he loves her but she won't be able to give him anything...
she felt helpless,as always,around him...after her brothers,only he was able to influence her life...but she can't give him a life that he expects...her circumstances won't allow that
Rey:mujhe lagta hain Vicky...
His eyes met hers...they were brimming with tears...
Rey:(worriedly)kya hua...
Taani came out of her thoughts...
Taani:(separating her from him)kuch nahi...aap kuch keh rahe the...
Rey:are you okay..
Taani:(wiping the tears)haan...chale Rey..time bohot kum hain...
Rey:wo do log bahar gaye hain...
Taani:perfect...
They jogged silently to the room...Rey opened the door as silently as he could...when he opened the door,few rats went outside along with cockroaches...
Rey:(whispering)ewww...what kind place is this...they are keeping the girls in this place...
Taani:from what i have seen..i think this place is a palace...
When they came inside,the girls started making noise...
Taani:shh...daro mat...hum dono aapko bachane aaye hain...shh...
They stared at both of them suspisiously...Taani extended her hand to the small one...
Taani:aao...
She looked at others and kept her palm in Taani's...Taani pulled her up...and turned to others...
Taani:hum par vishwas karo...hum aapko bachaane aaye hain...yahan se door le kar jaayenge..aap sab ke mumma papa ke paas...
They looked at each other and relctantly got up...
Girl:sach main...aap..aap hamme amma ke pass le kar jaayegi...
Taani:agar aap yahan se mere saath aaoge tho...
It took her time to convince them...finally they followed her...
Taani:Rey door lock kar dena...
Rey locked the door and led them to the car...Vicky was already waiting for them in the car...everyone quickly got into the car
Vicky:Thank god tum dono aageye...
Taani:Vicky go...fast...
Vicky drove off...
Rey:everything went smooth...now we can go straight...i don't think we need to stop...
Taani:by now they would have reached there...it will take Vikram some time to figure it out...but can't take risk...if they have seen the car...no Rey...we need to stick to the plan...
Vicky,how did you manage to do it...
Vicky:i went to them and said that i have been watching them for long...and i suspect that they are doing something illegal...they should allow me to go in and check and bla bla...one of them
almost slapped me...
Taani:(patting him)good work...
Vicky slowed down the car near Sharon's and everyone got into his car...
Taani:Vicky,aap seede ghar jaayiye...agar kissine rokha tho don't panic...let them check the vehicle...(shutting the door)now go...
Vicky:bye...take care...
After switiching cars,they reached Gitaanjali hospital as Taani insisted on admitting the girls.Only Rey and Taani were left.It took them time to convince Ravi who was fuming at Taani.When
everything settled down ,they went back home...
Rey:(stretching his hands)it feels so good...
Taani smiled and kept on walking...
Rey:you know what,i never thought it would go this smooth...i expected some fights...
Taani:sabhi ko esa hi lagta hain,ese kaam sirf koi hatta khatta hi kar sakta hain...it is an just excuse, Rey...no one wants to come out of their comfort zone...
An uneasy silence prevailed there...both were lost in their own worlds
Rey:(stopping in his tracks)Taani why did you take us with you...i mean you could have taken your brothers or anyone...
Taani:(She too stopped and faced him)you know it,Rey...
He knew the answer...Taani turned around to go but Rey pulled her to him and hugged her as tightly as he can...'Rey..'Taani whispered...'shh...just one minute'...Taani
hugged him back keeping her chin on his shoulder while he burried his face in her hair...a minute passed but still they remained like that...
