EMA has some seriously interesting characters called "Mothers."
We have our Madame Kamla, what a joke!! I don't know whether to draw the curtains down when she is on "stage," or scream!!!
Such a "wonderful woman," she is portrayed as, but a "lousy Mother."
Never a dull moment with her, when she is not singing her "Real Daughter's" praises, she ensuring that the "Other One," is living "her" dreams.
She preaches to the world about "Right and Wrong" and chastises Neetu about not being a Good Mother, yet she is even a more lousier Mother to the "Other One." Pot calling Kettle Black I must say.
Neetu, I don't what she is yet, but even though slightly better than Kamla, never ceases to amaze me in the "wrongs," she tries to teach her "Real Daughter." and son.
Just when I thought there was hope, it seems Gauri's true values exists only when she has "loss of memory,"
The true face of Gauri, condones her son marrying a girl he does not love to revenge her parents, while breaking the heart of a girl he claims to love and who does not deserve this pain.
The same "Mother," who knows what it is like to be separated from the man she loved, has no problem in Raghav losing the woman he loves, so that justice "for her," can be done.
Where is the "No Raghav, I want you to do the right thing. I want you to be happy and not lose your loved one like I did."
It would be delightful to have some women with "Real," Motherhood running through their veins in this show.
