Good topic Jen. I think in India it is big issue ( from emotional side), children suffers most in this issue. They want to live with their parents, divorse will change their behaviour towards the society. Children need extra care and love in this case.

@Manju

Agree with you, the children are the one's that suffer the most in any divorce. It's so sad when you see couples using their children as a pawn in their fight, it's not right...They are not responsible for the divorce, protect, love and be their for them thru this difficult time, let them now that it is not their fault.

Nice post Jen!!!
I think divorce can be justified in some cases like domestic abuse or infidelity or where is no love, no care no respect etc between the couple..
In these cases the continuation of the marriage is of no use..both of them are unhappy..and they can't live like this forever..

But nowadays people are taking divorce too lightly..people are playing with emotions and all..and this is not good..marriage and divorce are both serious matters and need to be discussed well before taking any decisions..

Personally I don't like divorce at all especially when there are children involved..
The parents may divorce and have a better life but for a child, it's not easy for him/her to ''divorce'' one of his/her parents..

i think people need to look at the pros and cons of getting a divorce. feelings will be hurt. people will get shattered. hearts will be broken. money will be spent...
