Divya, may be you can answer me. Which the tune they played yesterday for Krishna, its an old one, Nadin da dhum tanana Nadin da dhum tanana

It is called "Dharmasya..."

It was played when Dury was getting the chain to arrest Krishna...

hi, hi, shani and nandigori,

the song which u asked about krishna stopping the chariot when fighting with rukmi. the song is

Jai Jai sudharashana it is a shlok from sudharshana ashtakam . U can download the lyrics from net. regarding another one

I am not sure whether i am correct. but the lyrics goes like this

Yuddha Dharmam ChaloHamchah Mohamvyo gamasthithaha

sarvalalannahankara Yadho Dharmastha Tho Jayaha

hope i rendered you some clarity

AFAIK, the first time the song was played was during the VH. This is the longest version of the song so far, lasting for 2 minutes.

But, in this version, the instrumentation sounds louder than the vocals (plus there are background sounds too like the stripping of the jewellery and all...)

I've got another version in which the soldiers find it extremely heavy to lift the chains (to be used for arresting Krishna) -

The vocals are much more audible in this version. However, it is a shorter version of the one above (lasting for 59 seconds).

The song was played one more time when Vishnu entered Devaki's womb, and Krishna was born. But it was an extremely shortened version of the song that was played...

And it was also played yesterday when Krishna granted vision to Dhrit, but Dhrit's dialogues overlapped the song...
