Bollywood's rumoured lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will soon be dating at work. The couple are all set to start shooting for the next schedule of Anurag Basu's upcoming detective comedyJagga Jasoos which is a musical with over 25 songs. Jagga Jasoos is believed to be the reason behind Katrina's absence from Cannes.
The movie, which is being touted as a laugh riot, holds lots of promise for fans of the lead pair. The movie will also feature Govinda as Ranbir's father. The grapevine suggests that the team will fly to South Africa soon to shoot for three weeks.
The Rockstar actor is quite excited to work with Govinda. In an interview, he said, "I am very excited about the film because we all somewhere have been influenced by Govinda as an actor and dancer. For me, he playing my step-father is really an exciting opportunity for me."
Jagga Jasoos is very close to Ranbir's heart, not just because his reported sweetheart Katrina will be his leading lady, but because the actor is co-producing it with Anurag Basu and will play a detective for the first time.
Ranbir, who has completed shooting for his next film Bombay Velvet, had to quickly lose weight to transform his look from a beefy street fighter to an 18-year-old for Jagga Jasoos.
Meanwhile, it will be a bit hectic for his alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif. The actress, who is busy shooting for Knight and Day remake Bang Bang, will now be making time for Jagga Jasoos. The actress was in Abu Dhabi for two weeks for an intensive action shoot and will now be leaving for Prague with Bang Bang co-star Hrithik.
