Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics

Fire is the primary witness in a Hindu marriage. He is a god with two faces, one signifying immortality and the other a symbol of life and living. He is a messenger to the other gods, just as Mercury, the Roman god. Agni or fire in Hindusim accepts sacrifices made to other gods and carries the message of the devotee to them. Agni also purifies impurities.
Not sure what the significance of fire is in Naren's and Pari's relationship. How did Naren react to the fire during his and Ankita's wedding? I don't remember.

I don't think the CVS are smart enough for such symbolism. Fire technically did not bring them back together. It might've just made Naren himself again.
Naren had already seen Pari, called out Ahana and put a pause on the pheres before the fire started.
