edit: I know again a looong post but I think this one may actually smaller than the first two...which is some improvement right? sorry for the long posts...I can't help but get carried away when i start talking about these guys...appreciate you patience to actually read it all...
@goguma...yeah I know really long post I commend you and everyone who read it...takes patience...I know...😛@cyberOstrich...thank you...😳
Msfrootie thank you for introducing this topic...and getting so many people to write such brilliant answers to make us better understand...
now coming to the question you and goguma posed after my second post...I'm going to try and keep this one small...but I can't promise 😛
firstly tackling Paaro's role in the four life changing events I listed...you are right to say the first 3 go against Paaro, only the fourth shines some positivety on her...n I believe you are asking then how does is he shown falling for her in jaipur when the fourth hasn't happened at that point...true that...but you somewhat answered it yourself...
Paaro's persistence...but that's not all there is...after DIlsher awakens we see him shifting towards forgiving Paaro...before that he is hell-bent on kicking her out and not listening to her...but after Dilsher awakens..he is made to realise by Dilsher that Paaro could not have done it...Dilsher the person who saw with is own eyes a bride throwing the torch n running is adamant that it couldn't be Paaro, for she is not capable of it...Dilsher is the third, but the most important voice he trusts to tell him Paaro cannot have done this, the first two being Aman and Danveer, who both negated Paaro having any hand init...he trusts their opinion but fear, insecurity and anger makes him not listen to it, as it doesn't make him listen to the voice inside his own head that tells him Paaro could not have done it...if you recall he asks Sunehri twice to be sure that it was Paaro, because he doesn't believe it the first time...anyhow rocky relationship as he has with his father...he trusts him and his opinions...just the way he never forgets his father's advice to not trust pretty women he also listens to his father's statement of Paaro's pure character...so Dilsher's words stop him from treating her like a criminal...whether he agrees that she innocent or whether he decides that she should be forgiven for she has repented is unclear...but either way...this leads to him becoming somewhat pacified against Paaro...until Sumer's photo of Paaro is published...he finds a new reason to hate her and punishes her by marriage, to save his skin and to exact his revenge...but on the very first day of their marriage it is revealed that Sumer is responsible for it not Paaro...so he has to tone down a little but he still has every right ot be angry at Paaro because she gave Sumer the chance to take advantage of the situation...which is what he says to her when she asks now do you forgive seeing that I didn't take the pix...he tells her she is still responsible...which she is...and so he continues the cold behaviour...but the way she deals with the women's right people he is left in awe...for she takes the blame and clears his name completely ... she says the truth but she says it in a way that makes sure she can hide the truths that she doesn't want them to know...such as how they got married...rudra's vows and his anger...this speech of hers' for the first time sitrs something inside of him...he see's Paaro for the first time in a sense...for her strength of mind and character are shown...something he never thought was in her...he calls her 'bichari' continually before this scene infuriated by it because he knows she is not a 'bichari'...he thinks it is a farce she uses to get her way...in her speech with the women he see's it's not a farce and she doesn't enjoy playing the 'bichari' because she isn't in fact she is very strong...this the woman echos too...that Paaro is strong...amy be even stronger than Rudra himself...
After this encounter you see, that his anger at her has completely faded away and instead there is awe...for the first time...in this mind he is told that once the report comes he will re-instated to BSD and in the meanwhile he is to go to Jaipur...and is also told to thank Paaro by VK Singh...Rudra registers at some level that she deserves his gratitude...but he isn't there yet where he can openly admit it in front of her...so how does he do it...by taking her to Jaipur with him...two reasons prevail this decision...one he doesn't want Kaki sa to hurt Paaro, not because just because he cares for Paaro but because he knows the only reason Kaki sa is hurting her is because of Rudra..she wants them out of the house as she wants to reign init...but it's not right Paaro doesn't deserve to be harmed because Kaki sa is greedy and wants Rudra out of her life...so that is one reason, he doesn't want to come back find Paaro seriously injured and the second...its his way of thank you...thank you for saving his job and for hiding the burn...
And his attraction in Jaipur...well he is pacified now so he doesn't see any reason to be vengeful against her...therefore treats her normally...pays a bit more attention to her and her needs because it's a new place and so doesn't wish for her to get lost or hurt...n then the party scene...well he is a man...and in comes his wife looking gorgeous...as much as he may want to have nothing to do with her he cannot deny her beauty add to that Geetanjali gets them both drunk and so they both loosen up and he comes close to her...but she isn't ready so he backs away...
After all this comes the poison incident this, as you have said put Paaro in the positive light...this incident comes after he is already starting admire her...then seeing her nurturing side he is drawn further...when Dilsher and Aman see this they tease him saying he is in love...but he isn't and he knows that...however at the same time he cannot deny that something is stirring between them...that he is starting to care for her more than he did before...before it was just making sure she is harmed in anyway...but now he is starting to keep tabs on whether she has arrived home safely or not...these thoughts begin to surround him plus Dilsher's words of how he should embrace Paaro and his new life not fight it...so he tries...thinking that may be he can have a go at a happy life...but he knows before he can start a new life he must tell Paaro about his past...which he begins too...but is rudely interrupted by Laila...now he is confused and scared...like he says whenever I try to move on my past always finds me and stops me...
he wants to tell Paaro all...and would have if she had not come...something tells me he would have told not just about Mala but about Laila too that night...but Laila comes in between and now he doesn't know how to tell her...because there is one thing telling your wife about your past and another of that past being there in the present...he knows how Laila loves him or is obssessed with him and so knows she will use there past to create problems between them...like she has already started...first by forcing paaro to get the past out of Rudra...paaro was happy to let rudra take his time...but Laila word games forces Paaro to ask and forces rudra to tell while Paaro isn't ready to hear it and rudra isn't ready to say it...the is a right time and a right way to tell things...unfortunately laila's truth comes out in the wrong way...if it had come out before she had arrived the night rudra was ready to reveal all...Paaro would still have been shocked and would still most likely want space...but she would also come out of the shock faster...now even if she tries too...she will see Laila with Rudra all the time and it will hurt her every time therefore making it more difficult and painful for her to accept it...
so that I think answers your question about Paaro and how the four events change Parud equation...as they make him realise he may have a chance at a happy life...given this chance he wants to take it...and so laila is late...rudra has been shown the light now...so he will not turn back to the darkness...it's like Mala's abandonment threw him into a ditch and instead of climbing up and out he dug further in thinking there was a way out there...for 8yrs he does this until paaro comes...they quarrel and she says the way out is up...after lots of squabbles he decides to give her way a chance and begins climbing up...he has still got a long way to go, but from where he is he can see the light telling him that is the way out...paaro is the way out...but Laila is calling from the depth of the ditch saying she is the way out...now he may be confused as to why she is saying that when he can clearly see the light is above, with Paaro...this confusion has made his stop in his advance... but it doesn't make him descend and hopefully he will learn soon enough to not listen to laila but climb out...or rather tell Laila to climb up and out to rather then going further in...which would be the nicer end to Rudra Laila...him showing her a way out too...but I think that is asking waay too much from Laila considering they are determined on making her the villain...
now coming to goguma's question...n yours of how can Rudra not feel anything for Laila...I said in my previous post he must...echoing yours and other thoughts here...that his actions...the fact that he gets affected by her is proof that he does feel something...there is something...and I think after much rambling and thinking I have come with a way to prove this...whether or not the creatives decide to show this...I think they should as it will give Laila and Rudra some definition rather then just making Laila black and a villain...but one doesn't know which way they will go due to trp and convention n stuff...anyway so the way I see it, how I know there is emotion between them...is the because of Dilsher and Rudra's relationship...before Dilsher gets comatosed...Rudra is admant that Dilsher is nothing to him...he doesn't respect him or treat him like a son should father...he is blunt and cold with him...much in the same way he is with Laila...but after Dilsher nearly dies...Rudra realises that Dilsher is very important to him...he may not have been a idealistic parent...but he is his parent nontheless...and his support system...he has been the one constant in his life...someone who has always been there not necessarily for support but to be miserable with...at Dilsher's deathbed Rudra realises that he cannot do without him...he can go on in life without laila and paaro...but not without Dilsher...ok so I am not writing this to say that if something were to happen to Laila he would suddenly break and realise that he is love with her or something...no that is not the case...because he doesn't love Laila thta much is clear to him...what he doesn't realise is that just because he doesn't love her doesn't mean he doesn't care...if something were to happen to her he would be affected...why go in the hypothetical...she is, in his eyes, supposedly in danger at the moment from tejawat's men...that is why he is keeping her at the house...no I haven't forgotten that it was on Paaro's insistance but she is in the house now due to Rudra's will...i say this because...before Rudra gets any indication of tejawat's men being close by he is ready to kick Laila out on the mere fact that she lies about the aarthi...however, now she is threatenning his relationship with paaro but he doesn't even think of kicking her out...why because he feels the need to protect her too...when she arrives at the house he was willing to turn her away right there and then and tell the officer to take her to the BSD camp to keep her safe and that was at night time too...but at that point he thought she was lying...now it is night time too and she uses her mind-games to get Paaro suspicious about him and Laila yet he doesn't kick her out...he doesn't even kick her out of the room when he decides to tell all...instead takes paaro and heads out himself...that all shows...that he does care...not love...but cares...
now whether the writers develop and make rudra realise is a different thing...but my heart is finally at peace...now that I realise he does care...that he isn't heartless..which is whaat Paaro fears...that is what scares her more than the fact that he was with Laila...she cannot wrap her head around the fact that he slept with Laila and felt nothing...the writers should really go down this track and make Rudra realise somehow that he does care for Laila and make him admit it, only then will paaro revive...for at the moment all hope inside her has died...hope that Rudra may love her one day...this hope dies the moment he says I never felt anything for Laila...in order to revive that hope Rudra needs to realise that laila is a part of his life and means something...only then will paaro be able to come to terms with it...and as for Laila and Rudra..when Rudra realises this he should give Laila closure...apologise to her...he needs to not because he slept with her...but for breaking her heart, even if it was unknowingly...for he gave her the impression that he would be with her always...but then he breaks this which is what gets her going off the rails...she was happy in the no strings attached relationship as long as he was with her...but when he gets another woman it hurts her and she wants blood...so he should realise that he is somewhat at fault for breaking that trust/faith/bond relationship that exits between them and so should apologise for his character growth and closure for Laila... just the way he apologised about not believing her when she said Tejawat's men were after her...although something tells me Laila won't see it as closure but will most likely re-enter as sumer's wife...considering she has already figured he is of some value..plus sumer always lovevs being a thorn in rudra's side...so...anyway I shall end here...n man I have done it again haven't I...sorry I keep on thinking I will write less this time but end up writing so much more...thank you for being patient and reading through my thoughts...😳
