Part 17That day RK had went away just like that and Madhu had remained silent. For quite sometime her mind almost remaiined empty of thoughts and all she could remember was RK's words which somehow she had found hurting. The way he had said that with a contempt in his eyes had made Madhu feel helpless.
RK had felt bad for her, but more than that he was furious. He didnt know if the anger was for himself to fall in love with Madhubala or on her for behaving so stubborn. But he knew he wont be the one to tag around her anymore. He knew she wanted to be with him, but what she showed was sonething different. And if her ego is what is gonna drive her, he wont be the one to feed her ego. He had loved the child in her, and the superstar didnt mean to him.

It was night and Madhu was sitting in her balcony. She stared the sky as she was getting herself accustomed to the fact that tomorrow she wont have to go for shooting with RK. She was staring at the stars and trying to think what her stars wanted annd where they want to take her. Never had she felt so empty on completion of her movie. In fact on other days she would have been relaxing and pampering herself. But today she felt this dark loneliness.
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes only to see RK's face. She felt a bliss and kept her eyes closed with a small smile on her face as she felt she could be with him this way.
She saw his face and his smile, how he had pinched her nose, how he had held her hand with authority and led her out of the studio, his face while he drove her to her house. She could see him laughing with her, and even laughing at her but never had she felt bad about it. She saw RK standing in front of her in the last scene of the film, and how they had been lost in each other's eyes and his painful complaining gaze. And then-
"I LOVE YOU" , the words rang in her ears and she opened her eyes in dread. She looked around herself as if to ensure where she was. she rested on the chair back as she tried to gather what she just heard.
'Love' Did I say that to RK? Do I really love him? Why did I say that? But it was a scene and I was just acting. I was in my character. Nooo... Stop it Madhu how long wiill you fool around. And why do you want to fool yourself. You werent even thinking of the scene at that time. All that was in my mind was RK's eyes, and I had said that... because... Because? I Love him? Yes.. That is the reason why you felt this pull towards him. That is the reason you couldn't keep away from him. That is the reason that you felt your world stop the first time you saw him. And that is the reason of all those insecurities and feelings that you have been going through. She felt like a weight unburdenning her heart and she knew that she was right. She took a deep breath of fresh air and felt relieved like never before. She went to stand near the edge of her balcony and looked down at the busy roads.
"Madhubala is in Love with her RK..." she whispered to herself as she smiled.

RK on the other hand was trying to sleep. He closed his eyes but evenn though he was tired like hell both physically and mentally. But still he couldnt sleep. Eveytime he closed his eyes he would see Madhu. He threw a pillow in frustration not knowing what else to do.
Madhu was now feelling all excited at her new accepted feeling. She was on cloud 9 as she had never expected herself to be in love. She had thought herself too big and had thought that nobody could match her but here she was already behaving like a love sick puppy since days together. Thinking of it made her more and more anxious. She had to share it with somebody but whom was the question that flashed in her mind. She tried to think about her friends whom she can share such a thought with.
"RK... yes.. he is my friend.. annd i can evenn call him at this time of night... I can tell him that I love RK... " she excitedly pounced towards her cellphone and clicked on RK's number. She was about to press the call button when she saw RK's picture on the contact and sighed at his handsomeness.
"Wait!! What are you doing Madhu... You are sharing that you love RK to him only.. Wont it be too fast..? Shouldnt the guys be the first one to propose..." she thought with a frown on her face as her forehead formed wrinkles.
"I think so... It has been like that in all my films... Always the hero is the one confessing his love... And also it shouldnt be like this.. Should it? on a phone call... Its Madhubala's Love... Everything needs to be grand.." she said with a confident smile and spark in her eyes.
But she had to share this feeling. She cant just keep quite about it. She glisetend with delight as she realised that she can call Trish.
"Hello.." said a sing song voice from the other end.
"I love RK" Madhu said it way too fastly as she just gushed out her excitement.
"Wait wait.. what was that?" Trishna asked utterly confused.
"What?" Madhu said in frustration as she thought how Trish reacted to her love confession.
"That blabber.. " she said as if accusing Madhu.
"BLABBER!! you were tge one going on and on about me loving someone and now when i tell you that you call it blabber?.." she said almost hurt as she thought that Trish had refuted her feelings.
"Di.. Blabber is called blabber... It cant be called anything else..." she tried to justify as she gauged Madhu's tone to be sad now.
"Trish... you are so mean" "Can you tell me that a little slowly. What did you say.. and did u just talk of love?" Trishna asked shocked as she realised what her sister complained to her just now.
"Ohh... you mean i was fast... ohhh..." she said relieved.
"okay so... You know what""Di there has been a lot of build up already.. just tell me fast" she asked getting restless now.
"I am in Love..." Madhu said dreamily.
"Wooowww... Am I really awake or is it a dream... Finally... Madhu realises she is in love..." Trish said excitedly.
"Yeaasss" Madhu shrieked in excitement.
"And u know with whom?""Of course.. Your RK" Trshna said confidently.
"How did you know?" Though actually Madhu was angry because ruining of her news but she couldnt help but smile and blush because Trishna had referred RK as her RK.
"Come in Di... Never had you talked of any guy but since a while you have been talking of just RK when you call me..."she reminded her.
Madhu blushed.
"So... What you say? Should I tell him?" she asked excitedly.
"Yes of course you should..." Trish said exasperated.
"But arent guys are the ones to initiate..." she asked confused.
"Which great soul told you that?" Trishna frowned.
"Trish.. its been like that in all my movies. The guy proposes the girl" she said not believing her sister refuting the idea totally.
"Ohhh... So you expect thatt he would propose on his knees.. and you would cup ur mouth in amazement and then accept him teary eyed?" She asked frustrated.
"Doesnt it happen that way...?" she asked confused.
"Ohh God Di... those are just the movies... Reality is far... you should confess if you feel that you love him really... And are you sure that he has no other interests?" Trishna asked her
"No..." Madhu said hesitantly as she remembered RK with Dipali.
"Great.. then you should tell him about ur feelings..." Trishna said happily.
Madhu on the other hand was lost in her own world of thoughts. All her happiness changed to insecurities as her mind roller coastered through the number of possibilities. She bid Trishna goodbye as she tried to solve through the puzzle that was forming in her mind. She had just remembered her's and RK's times. But did she think of Dipali in the equation. If they already have something going on? What would she do? And what should she do now?
