I think he did not have any agenda except for saving a life when he paid those 2lakhs. Sanam's apology and her telling him that she has misunderstood him made him say those words. Remember that scene of Aahil and Rehan in which Aahil feels bad for the waiter after mistakenly beating him, gives him money to get proper medical aid and then calls himself Shaitan?

I agree, which is why I made the topic asking the question. I didn't see this part being mentioned. I think it's clear that he didn't have an agenda. Sanam's thank you speech to him played catalyst. He wasn't even bothered about letting her know or finding her, which he would have done if he initially had an agenda.

I don't think Aahil had any agenda initially helping Dilshad. It's just when Sanam showed up at his place and her words led him to say such things. He could never see someone changing her/his opinions regarding him and this was Sanam after all. He couldn't let that happen so he just pretended like he did all this to make her his Ghulaam. And the way Sanam said and thanked Aahil for money and misjudging him, he would never want that. So he played along and pretended like he is a JERK and Sanam was right judging him. (And I love such track 😆 )
