May 15:

Dear diary,

naayak nahi khalnaayak hoon main zulmi bada duhkhdaayak hoon main

naayak nahi khalnaayak hoon ...

This is the tune Aahil loves humming to himself everyday. Even if his Ammi tells him he is a hero, he is not going to believe it. (And Tanveer will only be pleased about that, for sure!) As far as he is concerned, he is a lost soul...someone Allah would consider the lowliest of all human beings..but he goes about doing his duty ...to his Family and Society...expecting nothing in return...not even pardon.

If he wanted to help an old woman who needed medical help, it was only because he was an instrument in the hands of The Almighty...the shaitaan who comes handy at times...and he is only too willing to be just that. Call him not a hero; not a farishtaa...not because he dreads the responsibility that comes with it, but he knows he will never be pardoned... a deep complex that only Sanam can reach and release him from. Until then, Aahil Razza Ibrahim will take pride in the identity he has created for himself...khalnayak...so that no one would have expectations of him, to be heart broken by his wretched past...the sin that keeps haunting him need not swallow up some innocent soul too...that is something he would not wish up even on his worst enemy.

And so he declares, as he chooses a ring...if ever there were to be a need for a ring...something he has dismissed totally...But the ring has a mind of its own...it finds its way to the person who would cherish watching it on her beloved's hands- another non- believer in love! (Poor ring- tough task ahead! A word of encouragement to The Ring- Tough times don't last; tough rings do!!!👍🏼 Shuriyaaa..Shukriyaa...😳😆). Any doubt on whom the broken hearted, but wise Asma would leave the ring to, when she realises the whole engagement has been a sham?😉

I loved the journey of the ring👏...that was one captivating ride!👏 It lifted an otherwise non- happening episode to a different level! 👏👏👏

Sha- Na-ziyas: So, they are Billi's own🥱...Shaziya is quite right in her judgement of their Ammi..little do any of them know how close she is to the truth!😲 So she has been brought up to believe that Ammi jaan is taking a break from child rearing...(How characetrestic of Tanveer that'd be!😡)...every time she accuses her Ammi, it must pierce a dagger through Bro- jaan's heart that he has kept his half sisters away from their beloved mother's love...😭😡🤢

I wonder how much Naziya knows. I think a befitting end would be both the girls turning their back on Tanveer👏...not sure what Gul thinks!😃

Zulfi: Probably a one- episode wonder😆...two, I guess...suppose he is already back to the Boarding School! That was a cool kid to have around...a misfit in Khaala- Khaalu's family. He is partner in crime with Aahil Bhai - his little fan who is big enough to see what Aahil sees when it comes to his parents. He shares a knowing look with Aahil as Khaalu rightly words his wife's glossy attempt at masking their intentions..as GREED...😲🤣

SaHil: Not sure if they should be called Sahilan😡...after the moony worshipping look Sanam gave Rehaan🤪.😡...looks like the Shaitan himself will break that triangle with the precap.😆 Sanam is not allowed the luxury of any misconceptions. When Aahil did an act of service, he did not intend for it to be traced back to him- he'd have hated that, in fact. Of course, he overlooked the fact that Sanam might want to thank her unknown benefactor profusely...in fact, so profusely that her gratitude would turn to insult!😲 Who asked Sanam Ahmed Khan to jump to conclusions that Aahil did it to show off his money? Could she not have let sleeping khalnaayaks sleep? The Little Mohetarma Duffer takes pleasure in telling Aahil that he is a shaitaan and not a farishtaa...which is what Ahil would love to keep hearing!😕 😆Therefore, he decides to keep this truthful, self proclaimed saint bound to him by debt...afterall, it is not everyday one gets to hear exactly what he wants! And certainly, no one comes asking for trouble...which is what Aahil loves giving! As long as Sanam keeps asking for more...Aahil is only too happy to give!😎😉

PS:

TRPs: I will not say it is too early...because it is not. TRPs should be better...esp when YRKHH gets good trps...So, what is keeping the TRPs away? I believe people watch shows for different reasons...some of us may be fans to actors...or a way of story telling. For the large majority...it is the entertainment quotient- which the show is delivering well as of now...though I would agree that it is dragging a bit, if you are an impatient viewer😉... What I wonder about is, whether QH would have done better as a different show?😊 For I cannot help wondering once in a while if Sanam will die 😭(with all her fears of impending doom about the house)...if Sehar will be back in her place🤢...(Since there seems to be no love angle or even life for her as yet)...and if Rehan or Aahil will have the same face in four months😲...(just a habit of history repeating with 4 Lions😆).

I wonder if the TRP viewer has the same concerns too..If they did, I wouldn't blame them for investing in a show that looked consistently boring, but predictable...at least predictable enough to not suddenly turn into a murder mystery/ massacre horror😲 that remains unsolved over years...

Yet another excellent post this is Soup!

What I liked about yesterday's epi is Asma and ofcourse, the 'Junoon' moment! 😳 SaHil def are the USP of QH2.

Thanks to you and Amber am no longer that judgemental of Aahil. Infact, I have grown a liking for him. Yes, he acts like a jerk sometimes but he is also vulnerable and kind-hearted. That Sanam always gets even with him only helps to keep us from being mad at him for a longer time.

I completely agree with what you have written in post-script. QH2 has given us some really lovely moments(Dilshad-Sanam-Haya), some feisty confrontations(Sanam and Aahil) and in no way is QH2 a complete 'blah' but still I can't help but feel that the show is deserving of the TRPs it is getting. Having said that I really hope QH2 only gets better and does not disappoint it's viewers(because 'Qubool Hai' still is the only show I watch 😛 )

P.S- I loved Sanam and Aahil's scene in Monday's episode. Sanam's dialogues("Meri Badi Ammi ne mujhe tehzeeb ki daulat di hai...") were brilliant and it was such a well thought out scene.

Awesome post dear. This song is so apt for Aahil and you described it so beautifully. 😊 😊 He truly is hiding himself in some shell not wanting to come out and face his true self. He definitely needs a strong support or push who can help him break through this shell. I really loved the way you described SaAhil's relationship. This is the only USP of QH2 and making it worth watching.

a man who has never been loved or cared for , who is burdened with the shame of killing his abbu (or so he thinks) ... hides with all his insecurities behind the tough image of a shaitaan . he feels safe and in control behind that image.
Now how will Sanam break thru that barrier and get the real aahil out ... and begum sahiba is to return for azhar's nikhah..

btw today when sanam was hiding out holding the ring and aahil comes upto the door before rehaan takes him away, aahil was looking in sanam's direction with a small smile, does he know she is there?
