Note: Well we have to assume a few things here. Zoya and Asad are same age, no they are not college buddies. Secondly after Zainab (or Saira) (or Zoya's mother) died Gaffur didn't let Razia send her to orphanage. Done? Yes? Ok.
Chapter One: unus <3
He couldn't help but stare at the girl seated beside him she had an aura around her and he was well all most fascinated. And he was not definitely the kind of person who would pay attention to girls, no he didn't have time for that he had to get a degree, get a job and work hard for his family. Girls weren't a part of his plan, sure he'd marry if his ammi wanted him to but that would be one day and that day definitely wasn't today. Love? Ohh please.. It doesn't exist. He didn't believe in love? Well he had no reason to, years ago his father had abandoned his mom and him and his sister, hadn't he claimed? Claimed to his mom that he loved her?
He had been lost deep in the oceans of his thoughts when a voice rang through the speakers of the hall announcing that only the last five minutes of the time limit were left and that the students better hurry up! After meticulously checking and then rechecking the paper he handed it in.
And the girl beside him? Well she begged the authorities to give her more time.
No she wanted that one mark so badly! She had dreams. Dreams to get out of the life she had been living in. To escape from the namesake family of hers. She needed freedom and for that freedom she needed that one mark! She made her famous puppy dog face and large baby tears sprang into her eyes as she emotionally blackmailed the poor invigilator to give her the paper and the old man pitied at the young girl and eventually gave in. Boo yah! Fake tears and dramatics they always come in handy. She quickly started rewriting the paper.
"What is wrong with people these days? Couldn't they complete the paper in the given time? No sense of time management" he thought shaking his head and then made his way out of the building and into the bus that routed home.
He just hoped and Infact prayed that he wouldn't be sharing his seat next to someone murky and unkempt, he brought out his pocket sanitizer and wiped his hands clean.
Just as he made himself comfortable in his seat apart from the window? Because who sat next to the window where the dust made it's way in. Someone plopped next to him and let out a tired huff and stared out of the window. And destiny! His bus mate was none other than the clumsy girl he had slammed into in the morning. He almost let out a growl and was about to ask her to dislodge her arm from his arm rest when she turned her head towards him and brought her hand in front of his and made a loud introduction! "Hi I'm Zoya! "
