"Khushi! Why did you come along? You had to go on a date na? I wanted to take ASR's interview alone!" Lavanya whined.

"Woh...uh...I came to see to it that you note down his answers properly. I know you very well. You will be busy drooling on him instead of jotting down his answers."

Lavanya frowned but she reflected that Khushi was right!

"I can't believe I am at ASR's residence! So exciting!" gushed Lavanya.

There were in the outhouse of Raizada Mansion.

"I was thinking if he is in a good mood, I might just propose him! What say?"

Khushi grew wide eyed hearing that from her friend. Lavanya was dressed in a sexy orange one piece but when Arnav arrived there his eyes stuck only at Khushi who was wearing a black corset top & jeans.

"Hi! I'm Lavanya! Its great to meet you!" she stretched out her hand, looking dreamily at him.

Arnav shook hands with her & saw, through the corner of his eye, how jealous Khushi had got with just a handshake!

"Miss Kashyap. You didn't mention someone else coming with you for this interview." he purposely directed the remark as Khushi as he sat on the couch.

Khushi gave him a glare as she sat with Lavanya on the adjacent couch. Hari Prakash came in with coffee mugs. Placing it on the mini table, he left immediately.

"Actually even I had no clue Khushi would be coming! After all, I don't know why, from the time she joined StarRise, she hated you to the core & would cringe whenever your name was mentioned!"

Khushi grew wide eyed hearing her friend speak. What was the need to tell him all that!!!!

"Oh I see! So Miss Khushi doesn't approve of me at all!" he exclaimed while sipping his coffee & he smirked slightly at Khushi!

"And I don't know what suddenly happened today that she came her with me! Infact, she cancelled her date with her boyfriend to be here!"

Khushi sternly gestured Lavanya with her eyes to keep quiet. Why did La have a big mouth?!!

Arnav's orbs flickered with a smirk as he looked at Khushi, "Its so unfair to keep your special someone waiting for you. He must have been so eager to spend some quality time with you & you turned him down."

"Exactly! I--"

"Mr Arnav Singh Raizada!" Khushi interrupted Lavanya & looked at him, "We are not here to discuss my personal life but to interview you regarding your professional life! I think we should stick to that, right Lavanya?" Khushi voiced curtly.

Arnav smiled slyly. Lavanya gave a disapproving frown to her friend for speaking like that!

"Please don't mind ASR! Khushi is mad!" she spoke hurriedly to do damage control while Khushi just rolled her eyes.

So finally the interview began. Lavanya asked him questions regarding the latest high profile deal that AR Designs had just signed. Both the girls were left marveled at the way he responded to all of it. No wonder he was The Arnav Singh Raizada-king of the corporate world, Khushi was so intimidated that for once, she couldn't believe that he could love her!

She just peered in Lavanya's notepad to check other what other questions she would ask him. Khushi was left shell shocked as she read the last few questions!

"On no! If Lavanya asks these to Arnavji then he will definitely erupt in a volcano of anger!" she thought in fear!

"Uh...M-Mr Raizada! Will you please excuse us for a moment?" Khushi asked him, holding Lavanya by her arm.

Arnav nodded. Khushi tugged her friend along with her.

"What happened Khushi?? Why did you bring me here??!!" she asked impatiently when they were outside. The displeasure of leaving ASR's side was clearly evident in her face.

"Lavanya! What the hell are you up to??! Even after knowing very well that ASR hates the media for asking him personal questions, still you're planning to ask him all that?" she moulded her raised voice into a whisper.

"Oh God Khushi! Didn't you see ASR is in such a good mood? I don't think he would mind! Also, from when did you stop yourself from creating spicy gossip out of an interview?" she winked.

"We will be thrown outside if he gets angry! I am telling you don't ask him all that!"

"Chill Khushi! Nothing of that sort will happen!"

"Lavanya wait you won't---"

But Khushi saw her walking back inside & quickly followed her.

"Oh no! I don't even want to think of the tsunami that will come in the next one minute!"Khushi thought frightfully as she settled in the couch next to Lavanya.

"ASR! Lastly we would like to know is there any special girl in your life?"

Khushi squeezed her eyes shut in fear! Now time for ASR's famous anger!!

"My bland life has become special because of her presence around me. I am deserted without her." Arnav replied as he stole a secret glance to look at Khushi.

Khusin snapped her eyes. Her mouth hung open in extreme shock! What was that?!!!!!

"Oh my gosh!! Does that mean you are dating someone? Who is the lucky girl? When did you realize your love for her? Do you intend to marry her??" Lavanya bombarded him excitedly with questions like a typical mediaperson!

Khushi was left stunned to see Arnav composed even after all this.

Just then Lavanya's phone rang. It was her landlady & she couldn't dare to ignore it!

"Excuse me! I have to take this call!" she exclaimed, distressed.

"Yeah! Yeah Sure! Take your own sweet time!" encouraged Khushi.

After Lavanya's temporary exit, Khushi rose to her feet & walked up to Arnav who was still seated on the couch with a sly smile.

"What's wrong with you Arnavji?????? Have you forgotten how to give an interview? Your statements will be on print tomorrow! Are you in your senses? How can you drop hints like this?" she asked in hyper tone.

Khushi gave a shriek when he pulled her to him & she landed on his lap. His hands possessively went around her waist & he made her lean on him. Her eyes locked with his intense hooded ones. She squirmed when he trailed the back of his index finger from her temple to her jaw. Her lips quivered with the sensual carress of his thumb...

"Arnavji...what are you doing...Lavanya can come anytime & see us like this..." she spoke breathlessly as he stroked her nose with his while his hands had already slipped inside her top to carress the bare skin lower back...

"You're the one who is going to edit this interview & have it printed in the magazine, right?" his rugged breaths teased her lips.

"Yes..." she was intoxicated with his seductive perfume.

"I am sure being a media person, if you can break a news, you can even conceal one." his lips touched hers as he said that making her yearn for a kiss...

He gave a modest tug to the hem of her top & placed a feathured kiss to her now slightly exposed cleavage making her blood warm. He then trailed smooches upward, one above the other till the base of her throat making her shiver in pleasure... She stifled her gasps of delight when he ran the tip of his moist hot tongue across her collarbone with his lips later gliding the same path...He placed open mouthed kisses on her neck when made him grasp his hair tightly between her fingers...Her veins inflated with heat as he sucked her earlobe & then kissed the sensitive part on the back of her ear all the while rubbing his chest against her bosoms...She breathed heavily when he moistened her glossy lips with his wet saliva while caressing her thighs from over her jeans...Just when they were about to kiss, they heard footsteps!

Khushi immediately got off his lips & adjusted her dress & hair properly while Arnav too made himself presentable. Lavanya entered soon after.

"I'm so sorry! My landlady is a pain!" she said as she sat next to Khushi

"No problem Miss Kashyap." replied Arnav.

"So I was asking from when are you dating her? What is her name?"

"If you ask all the questions now, what will you ask when I make an official announcement of my relationship with her?"

Khushi pressed a smile hearing that from Arnav.

"One last question..." spoke Lavanya, "Actually it's a personal request. When you had come for the StarRise anniversary party, I so wished to dance with you! It didn't happen then. Can I have a dance with you now ASR? Please if you don't mind?" she requested earnestly.

Arnav looked at Khushi who knew her friend would ask that.

"Ask Miss Khushi whether I can dance with you."

Lavanya was startled hearing that. She looked at Khushi who nodded. Lavanya didn't know what was going on but her eyes turned dazed & dreamy when Arnav stretched his hand for her.

Khushi didn't like it but couldn't even take the moment away from her friend for which she had waited so long.

But Lavanya was so besotted by him that she fainted in the second step itself which took Arnav by surprise!

"Lavanya!!" Khushi worriedly rushed forward to hold her.

"Why did she faint all of a sudden?" enquired Arnav.

"You won't understand! You have this kind of effect on every woman." replied Khushi as she made her friend lie on the couch & sprinkled some water.

O...kay? Arnav didn't know what to say!

"Are you alright?" she asked when Lavanya opened her eyes. Khushi helped her sit on the couch & offered her a glass of water.

"You are dating ASR, right?" Lavanya asked suddenly.

Khushi grew wide-eyed,"I...I am sorry La...I should have told you I..."

"Oh my gosh!!! That's so exciting!!!" Lavanya hugged Khushi dearly, "What you thought that I won't come to know? All through the interview, I noticed ASR stealing glances to look at you & even you were blushing! Anyone can make out how much he loves you!!!" she said cheerfully.

Khushi was startled, "Are you okay with it? I mean...I thought you wouldn't like it..."

Lavanya withdrew back from the hug,"Are you mad? I love ASR like a crazy fangirl but not how you love him like a life partner! I am so so so happy for you Khushi! Finally you have got the true love of your life!!"

"Thanks Lavanya for being there with me always!"

Just then Arnav entered.

"Are you fine now?" he asked.

Lavanya nodded with a beaming smile, "My best wishes to both of you!"

"As the answer to your questions, it is I who am lucky to be a part of Khushi's life" Arnav spoke,"I never thought we could ever fall in love, given the hate between us. But as is said, nothing is impossible for the heart. I will propose her marriage very soon & I won't give her any opportunity to refuse me." there was deep sincerity in his voice.

Khushi felt her heart skipping rapid beats hearing that. They both shared an eyelock.

She then turned to Lavanya, " Please don't let anyone come to know about this! We want to keep this private."

"Of course Khushi! You don't have to say that! I won't tell anyone but on one condition that I want to be the first one in the media to break the news of your relationship when both of you decide to make it official!" La winked.

"Done." Arnav replied. Khushi smiled too.

Lavanya hugged Khushi again.

"Now its time for me to take leave!"

"There is a car waiting for you outside. The driver will drop you to your PG." Arnav told.

Arnav pulled Khushi to him after Lavanya left.

"Arnavji! Naniji will be waiting for us!" she tried to resist him.

"I had told her not to wait for us." He replied & then slammed his lips on hers for a passionate kiss. His hands snaked her waist as he tasted her hungrily as his tongue probed deep into her mouth to savour her sweetnees. Their salivas mingled & she kissed him with equal passion. He left her swollen lips to kiss her shoulders while she clutched him tightly sensing her legs weaken in pleasure...

They were so much lost in each other that the sound of approaching footsteps made them step abruptly away from each other.

Just then Hari Praskash came there,

"Why are you here?" Arnav asked curtly.

The poor fellow froze in fright, "I...I came to c-collect the c-coffee mugs."

Hari Prakash meekly took the coffee cups. Khushi giggled seeing a frustrated Arnav. She glanced sideways when he glared at her!

When Arnav & Khushi walked hand in hand in the Mansion, they came across a deer at the entrance. Khushi shivered in fright & hugged Arnav tightly. His heart leapt violently & his eyes dilated in passion feeling her plastered to him like that...

"Bhai! How is my new pet?Nice na?" Anamika came there, beaming excitedly.

"Yes Sweety!" replied Arnav. He had to admit that her pets have always played cupid in bringing Khushi closer to him!

"But I think Khushi didn't like it...!" Anamika exclaimed gloomily.

"N-No...its nothing like that...only my b-bones are shaking seeing the deer, e-else I'm fine..." Khushi responded I voice choked in fear.

"Don't worry Anamika! Khushi will be fine!"

Sayin that, Arnav scooped Khushi in his arms which turned her beetroot red!

Anamika giggled when her bro carried Khushi upstairs!

Arnav walked along the corridors carrying Khushi in his arms. Their eyes were locked & they were so much into each other that it she realized it very late that he was walking towards his room instead of her room!

"Arnavji!!! Put me down! You cannot take me to your room!" she whispered, hiding a blush.

"But I want you to be in my room for the night!" he replied huskily, putting her down but caging her between the wall & him.

Her lips parted in perfect oval, "I...I will complain about you to Naniji..!" she saw the reducing gap between their lips...

"I can imagine doing those things only to you..." He replied in a dense voice.

Her heart fluttered wildly hearing that. He was just about to kiss her...

"Ahem Ahem!!" Anamika coughed teasingly letting them know that she had come there.

Arnav at once stepped away from a red Khushi. Anamika smiled cheesily seeing both of them so flustered.

"Uh...I think its very late in the night...Good Night..!" Khushi hurried to her room!

"Bhai! Its feels so good to see you happy after so many years! I love you!" she hugged him.

"I love you too Anamika!" he smiled.

"I have one wish. Will you fulfil it?" she asked, withdrawing back.

"You already know that your wishes are my command Sweety. Ask for whatever you want!"

"I want Khushi as a part of our family. I want her as my Bhabhi! You will fulfil this wish na?"

"I promise Anamika she will become your Bhabhi very soon!"

Her eyes were filled with joy & she hugged her brother. Arnav kiss her head fondly.

The next morning, everyone sat around the table for breakfast. Arnav & Khushi sat opposite each other while Nani sat at the head of the table while Anamika sat next to her brother. Food was served. Arnav & Khushi were stealing glances to look at each other or precisely Arnav just stared at her.He loved the way her eyes wanted to meet his but shied away the last moment & also there was a soft smile playing on her lips. He was mesmerized. The way Arnav was staring at her made her really uncomfortable. She was finding it difficult to hide the redness of her cheeks.

"Best breakfast ever." His voice was dazed.

"Arnav? What has happened to you!?" asked Nani which broke his reverie, "You haven't even touched your breakfast!!!"

Khushi stifled her giggle.

Nani too pressed her smile, "If this continues, I have to get both of you married sonner than I had planned to!"

Khushi felt her heart gallop hearing that! Arnav smirked!

"You know Nani!" chirped Anamika, "Last night I saw bhai carrying Khushi to his room but she stopped him at the right time!"

Both Arnav & Khushi grew wide-eyed.

"What am I hearing Bitwa?" Nani asked him strictly, "I won't stop both of you from fulfilling your fantasies after marriage, but nothing before that. Am I clear?"

Khushi felt her cheeks boiling in redness. She so wished to dig her embarrassed face somewhere!

"If that's the case Nani, then I want to marry Khushi as soon as possible! I can't hold myself back anymore!" Arnav spoke unabashedly!

There was silence hearing that. Khushi felt she would just burst like a balloon out of embarrassment! Her cheeks were of darkest shade of red. She suddenly rose to her feet from the chair,

"Woh...I..I will go & tell the juice to get Hari Prakash...I mean I will tell Hari Prakash to get the juice!"

Khushi just ran away from there.

"Bitwa, do I have to teach you decency now?" Nani asked teasingly! Arnav got up & left too!

Nani & Anamika burst out laughing!

"Nani! Finally the day is here for which we had waited so long! Bhai & Khushi are together!"

"That's true bitiya! Our patience paid off! Arnav has finally agreed to marry! I had almost given up hope of seeing them together! Arnav & Khushi had a lot of problems & misunderstanding between them! I pray everything sails smoothly now! Finally there is happiness knocking our doors!" Nani was overwhelmed with joy. Anamika hugged her.

Khushi breathed heavily, trying to calm her racing heart. Her breaths notched up higher feeling his hands snaking around her waist from behind...

"Arnavji..." she hissed as he placed wet smooches on her shoulders. He then turned her to face him.

She squirmed as his rugged breaths made sensual patterns on her cheek,

"From when have you become shameless Arnavji?...What will Naniji & Anamika be thinking?" her voice was shrill due to the sensations he was making her feel...

"I not only want in my life & but also on my bed Khushi." His voice was hoarse with mindless love & dark passion...

"But as of now, we are required to be in our offices!" Khushi reminded him of the time!

"Yeah right! I will drop you to your office."

Arnav drove the car while Khushi sat next to him in the passenger seat. The talks about marriage resurfaced her mind leaving her unsure...Various questions & doubts were cropping up in her mind...Will she be able to keep Arnavji happy when she herself hasn't been able to fully get rid of her haunting past...Will Arnav's decision to marry her turn out to be the biggest mistake of his life...All these years she has kept herself isolated from every feeling & bond of love...but now she couldn't separate herself from Arnav & also from Nani & Anamika...

The car came to a halt a few feet away from StarRise office building. Arnav saw Khushi had been so unusually quiet all throughout. He knew she was going trough a trepidation of some kind...

"Hey, Are you okay?" Arnav placed his hand on hers, "Look, if you think all this happening very quickly & that you need time to decide whether you want to marry me. It's fine. I will wait for you!" he said earnestly.

"No Arnavji. I want to be yours too! Its just that I'm not used to getting so many happinesses in my life. So it will take time for me to believe that even I can lead a blissful lfe."

"Same here Khushi. But don't worry! We will start our lives afresh where everything will bring us only happiness."

They shared an eyelock. He affectionately kissed her forehead before she got out of the car.

That night again Khushi got those haunted dreams...She sat on her bed, smeared with sweat at having seen blood & dead bodies strewn all over the place...

She wiped her tears, trying to calm herself down...She had resolved to get rid of her past at any cost because she didn't want its shadows to fall on her future life with Arnav...She got off the bed & walked to her cupboard...She pulled open a drawer & found the packet of sleeping pills...She had refrained from taking those pills all these years as she wanted herself to suffer by not having a peaceful sleep...but not now...she has to forget her past...And these pills will help her to get a sound sleep...

Khushi was just about to take the pills when she froze seeing Arnav standing right at the entrance...The pills dropped from her hand seeing his palms turning into fists in the scariest way... He advanced towards her, his orbs burning like coal his deameanor oozing in disasterous anger ... Her feet shivered, knowing that it was his deadliest wrath ever...
