Dear Diary
I saw a girl today, no, not just any girl, an angel, if I may.
I watched her from a far, lost in my fantasy as she laughed freely without a care in the world.
Her smile was enough to make any human or any other species stop dead in their tracks to gaze at the beauty.
Her plump pink lips curved up reaching her eyes revealing the small but deep dent on her rosy cheek.
Her pitch black hair danced with the wind in harmony as she walked through the busy streets of New York.
Her head thrown back as the melodious sound of her laughter escaped her throat.
Her eyes were filled with mischief, wonder, happiness and so many more emotions I couldn't define from being so far.
Her unique skin shone as the sun kissed her face making it glow even more.
All the men walking past had halted, staring at her admiringly, as the women glared at her enviously. But she was oblivious to all this. Her innocence sparked through as she didn't give any of them attention and continued to listen to her friend.
For the first time in my life I had felt my heart beat
For the first time in my life I had felt my soul coming back alive.
For the first time in my life I felt as if I was really breathing.
I don't know why, but I feel as if I belonged to her and she, to me.
I don't know why, but I feel as if somewhere in time, Allah had wanted us to cross paths.
I wanted to follow her, I wanted to know as much as I could about her.
Her likes,
Her dislike,
Her family,
Her friends,
Her habits,
But even when I wanted to move, I couldn't. My feet were glued to the tarmac of NY, not allowing me to follow her. All I could do was stare and admire and gaze and adore. Not so soon later, she had disappeared among the sea of people. She was gone.
She is a mystery to me, the only girl, the only person who has ever made me feel, and yet I don't even know who that person is...
I didn't know who she was, where she came from, or what she did all I know is that
I saw a girl today, no, not just any girl, an angel, if I may...
