I went through all the 8 pages of your post, went through a couple of other posts too that were made last night after the episode aired...The Major TOD was PaRud scene ...Yes, koi doubt nahi hai that the only thing worth mentioning in the entire episode was that sole scene from start to finish but all we fans ever talk about 80% of the time is about PaRud and only PaRud which testifies that the only thing the Makers have been delivering rightly and successfully are these moments. What about the story???? Do we have a story right now?? No!!! Zilch, Shunya, Zero !!!
I am reminded of a conversation I had in the Idiots Thread (You may have come across it😊 but still here it is) "The success of a show lies in the ability of the PH and the Creative Team to weave a story with moments (Leads romance, passion, desire, emotional etc) in it and not weave a story around the moments and here in RR that is exactly what is happening. The makers are trying to weave a story around PaRud moments which will never benefit them in the long run. Look for yourself from the Jaipur moment till now what story have we actually had? Even if there is one is there a rhythm , a flow? Kuch bhi aisa waisa dikhane se show mein growth kahan se aayegi?
RR has managed to pull of a dream cast (Still not impressed with Laila) imagine what a good story would do. With a concept like this which has been uniquely presented, what good would the lack of strong, intelligent story do? They have changed the director almost 6 times ever since 30th Dec 2013 and I am still not able to figure out why. Goldie was brought to set the show, so it was a known fact that he would never be around, but even after showcasing his spellbinding work when he left, the replacements that came in never actually let the visualization go down and sadly it's this dept that saw a change for almost 6 times when clearly the change should have been in the writing dept.
Ab dekho, Laila is a strong character, usko baar baar PaRud story mein ghussa sakte hai...and they chose to go for the dekhi, dikhayi, ghissi-pitti track...Talk about "First Impression is the Best Impression" 🤢 😡
Like you mentioned during the chat last night, the makers, ST, writing team, creative team the backbone of the show in the Background needs to come to terms with the fact that " THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO, THEY HAVE TO PLEASE THE GENERAL AUDIENCE AND NOT THE ONLINE VIEWERS' . That is the only way they can stop this ship from sinking forever. Honestly RR is on an airtube, what they need is a new lease on life before they drown. And trust me when that big, giant wave called BB8 will come, there will drown if they don't buck up.
