One thing dat u wont tolerate in Ek Haseena thi?

Before you frown at the poll let me tell you where it comes from...
Well am pretty tired of the subjugation and its glorificatinon the silver screen
Almost all teh leads are shown subaltern exploited and they are bearing it at the name of power or sacrifice in real world we do call it insanity be it swapping/donating babies (Pavitra Risjta) Romanticizing abusive marriage (Doli Armano ki the crap badly needs to go off air) Spineless husbands never standing for their wives yet the wives worshipping them (Saathiya) and the list goes on...
Presently I watch three shows doesn't mean i agree with all it says but it 'entertains' with less negativity they are-

Yeh Rishta Kya kahlata hai
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
Saathiya

I know Diya aur bati hum and Balika Vadhu too are good shows but I haven't watched them for certain other reasons...

Ek Haseena... started well with a strong protagonist but that's how every show starts but after few episodes they undo the lead and make her a sacrificing lamb shedding tons of tears. Hope it doesn't happen witjh Durga...and I wont like to see love story between Shaurya and Durga...Even in our real life we have zero tolerance for rape how can we tolerate a sensible strong girl falling for Shaurya ? Is it a message? To punish a rapist get married with him and stay with him forever for you believe in the sanctity of marriage? What Rubbish? It happened in Pavitra Rishta Vandita got married with Ajeet and Ekta named it Pavitra Rishta! Phew! Not again!


Dont want Durga to follow Vandita Urmi Gopi Icha, Meethi purvi or Archna! It l be shame if teh cvz show a love story between Durga and Shaurya! Plz bring a new hero for her after sending Goyinkaz behind teh bars.

This poll truly, is in It's rightful place. I agree with your views. Enough shown, Enough said, this can't go long again & again. EHT is making a difference, let it stay with. It's not really necessary to have a romantic angle with leads, in every single show. And, when topic hits the question of making, Predator and Victim, a "couple" ..It's a Big No!

Yeah its true that may turn it into a typical Indian drama after the truth is out in front of everyone. But I just hope that they go exactly as the US version goes. Its better to end the show after Durga sends Goenkas to jail. I dont want to see any love story. But Indian tv channels will never let it happen so easily.
