Abhi- Ash Snub Mani!!

Abhishek and Aishwarya refused the veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam's repeated request to be present during the premiere of his magnum opus ' Guru' at Cannes. The couple did not think it fit to get disturbed in their pleasant honeymoon trip by any talk of work and that too for ' Guru' which has already been released the world over. However, Mani Ratnam is upset that Aishwarya Rai did make an appearance at the Cannes for the opening night screening of Wong Kar- Wai's My Blue-berry Nights but could not give some time to his film.
As a source from Cannes reveals, ' Abhishek and Aishwarya were not present at the premiere. Mani Ratnam is not too happy with the way the actors opted out of the event. Abhishek and Ash had other plans and they were flying out the very day Guru premiered here. Mr Ratnam had asked them to stay back but to no avail.'
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai has decided not to attend the promotional events for Ashutosh's magnum opus Jodha- Akbar including luncheon at the Cannes. She shares the screen space with Hrihik Roshan in this historical film.
