I don't understand what is the point of contestants getting eliminated if you can simply replace them with Eklavyas? And doesn't that put Eklavyas in a better position, as they simply skip over round 1 and get direct admission into round 2? 😕

Yes I agree Eklavya gharana have advantage over others.

The way this contest is going, looks like at the end of round 1 we will have same number of gharana contestants as we started with.. with Ekalavyas replacing the emilinated contestants of round 1...

So, in a way - the Ekalavya team and the needless round 1 seems to only stretch the show without adding any value 😕 , plus they seem to be getting the added advantage of not facing an elimination round! 😕
