"It was a challenge for me to show my bold avatar" - Surekha Sikri
Veteran actress Surekha Sikri will be seen in a bold avatar in the coming episodes of Colors' show Balika Vadhu. The actress speaks to us more regarding the same.
The highly dignified actress Surekha Sikricurrently seen as Dadisa in Balika Vadhu has recently shot for an interesting scene in the show where the viewers will see her Dabangg avatar. The actress elaborates her experience in detail.
In a never seen before avatar Surekhaji will be seen holding a gun in the coming episodes of the show, "Yes there is a fight scene in the coming episode where you'll see me with the gun. It was a challenge but at the same time I enjoyed myself," she says.
Talking more about the upcoming track in the show Balika Vadhu, Surekhaji says that she will try to rescue a girl who has been held captive by the goons, "There is a girl who is trapped by the goons and I reach to that place to save her. In this I shoot the goons and escape with the girl."
Despite being ill Surekhaji continued shooting for the sequence and this is for the first time she had held the gun as she says, "We had to shoot this in the hot bright day which was taxing and on that particular day I was not keeping well too. So I don't know how the scene must have come. Though in real life I have never handled the gun but it was fun to do it on screen. Hope the audience like this."
So will her avatar continue in the further episodes as well? "Well, I really can't comment on that as I don't know of what will happen. For that you'll have to ask the writers of the show," she avers.
Having associated with the show for quite a long time Surekhaji thanks her writer and director of the show for their incredible job and she says, "I'm very happy to be part of the show and all the credit goes to its writer and director who had done a very good job. I would like to thanks the audience too who loved our show and brought it to this position,"
