Raman cant compare what Param did and what Bala did not do. They are 2 different things.

Instead of giving such a big lecture, he could have placed evidence of sms messages and other things to make a solid case.

I know. But that comparison at this point of time was unnecessary.

Why he did not defend Ishita at that time?

He was just giving an example that how is it so difficult to take a stand when u r stuck b/w different ppl of ur family.Rather it was easy for bala...all truth was in front of him when subbu left Ishu But for raman it was shock. He could not figure out whats happening...how he shud handle the situation without taking a wrong decision for bot his sister and his wife. So basically he was in a tighter spot. And thus his comparison to explain his state to bala was much valid.

His outburst was in a way for everyone who keeps questioning him over and over about him being heartless, which he isn't even if he pretends to be. He trusted Ishita from the word Go, it was obvious. And he obviously also wants her to be with him. But she was going, he wanted to stop her, he had a long, emotionally exhausting day and he needs her.
Let's give him a break, he's human after all.

Trusting is different from taking a stand. If he trusted, he should have taken some stand.

What Ishita underwent was nothing in comparison. She was jailed.
